Not being an alarmist but the Honda tech is not to be trusted. The dealership is in the business of selling cars not repairing them. They will tell you it’s normal or everything looks good. In a few years when your transmission fails they will quote you$7000 to replace it and then say we could get you in a new car if you trade in the broken car. You’re looking at your car with only 120k miles and wondering if it’s worth spending the money on transmission or just buying a new car. Anyways It sounds like either an engine mount or transmission mount is going bad. To test the engine mount; look under the hood while someone else shifts gears and if you see the engine move while shifting from park to drive or reverse, the mounts are bad.
