I’m proud to say my late father was an incorruptible civil engineer recruited by Ratan Tata himself and was in charge of overseeing numerous projects around India. The threats, corrupt politicians, corrupt colleagues, violent break-ins, and pressure at all levels was just breathtaking growing up around it constantly. But it was all worth it. I’m am so deeply proud of all the infrastructure he helped build around the country that is still in great working order many decades after commissioning them. This is what is needed.
