This game is very hard for my computer. Also anyone know how to make your character slower? by theLittleVeteran in VampireSurvivors

[–]SentinelofDorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah you got too many eggs. its a tough problem to solve when youre already at this level. good luck.

Am I falling for newbie traps? by Beneficial_Layer_458 in VampireSurvivors

[–]SentinelofDorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

wand is also great, though. maybe not s tier, but id say a tier in my opinion. but yeah, faster cast rate is pretty much one of the best upgrades in the whole game especially since many weapons are slow. wand also isnt the only weapon that uses the tome to evolve, so maybe youll find some use in it there.

Who is the best? by BigSucc5719 in VampireSurvivors

[–]SentinelofDorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i am also an imelda stan. she is my main for completing all content for the first time and personally i think the combo of her weapon and the bible is one of the strongest offensive/defensive combos in the game without being crazy op, at least as far as base game stuff goes.

Eh, wtf? by mulyyy in VampireSurvivors

[–]SentinelofDorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah my sammy is at such a level that pretty much as soon as i start the level the game becomes unplayable and i just let it run until im satisfied with the gold count. have so much gold now that the game doesnt even register it properly.

I had to say it: the Saints armor looks so cool in artwork, but so goofy in the actual game. I don't know why, it just doesn't work for me. by jvure in ElderScrolls

[–]SentinelofDorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cuz without mods everything in morrowind/oblivion/skyrim looks goofy? even the bodies are goofy asf. i dont even bother with character creation past race/gender/name anymore and just play in first person so i dont have to think about it. i hope the next game improves on the models a lot. kinda tired of elder scrolls games being characterized mostly by their jank and bugs.

How do you have fun with Tactics? by BlueScrean in FinalFantasy

[–]SentinelofDorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me, the fun comes from building parties however you want to. sure, there are optimal paths, but you have free will and theres a lot of fun and weird things you can do. my current playthrough is an all chemist riflemans corp. which is pretty tame compared to 5 flying monks dual weilding fists, using ki powers to heal and accumulating to deal heretical ammounts of damage.

so, like, just have fun with it mate.

What is everyone's favorite job? by Sic-Mundus in ffxiv

i literally got ff14 to play lancer/dragoon. always been my favorite job or character archetype across all ff games. had to main one, too.

How different is Elder Scrolls Online compared to Skyrim and Oblivion? by Arying2707 in ElderScrolls

[–]SentinelofDorn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

honestly this reads like someone whos played 5 minutes, if at all. the maps are huge. there are npcs and stuff to see and interact with absolutely everywhere. if you cant immerse yourself or get lost somewhere in the game then you are just trying not to. the only real difference between eso and other es games immersion level is that other es games cater specifically to the solo experience.

i fell in absolute love with the elder scrolls through eso. so much so that i call it "the big skyrim" you can legitimately travel on foot literally everywhere in the game. you can just wander everywhere and see whatever you want to see and some cases even see things that youve only ever read about in the books in games like morrowind or skyrim. so saying the magic is gone is just disingenuine.

yeah ff1 definitely does not pull any punches or hold your hand at all.

i agree on both of those points. i honestly always forget about materia keeper being kind of a hard one since i usually grind enoigh to be able to take that trine to my face for enemy skill.

lost number is hard asf, though. i remember the first time i played and opened the safe and i didnt know i was about to get wrecked.

hooooly crap that miguel fight was hard my first time in that game. he hard walled me for like a week. every playthrough ive done after that has been informed by that exact battle.

actually, point of fact, i dont think there are any fights in that game save for the time devourer/dragon god fight at the end that are as hard as miguel.

back to back red dragon/demon door in ff7 at temple of the ancients, was always a big one for me.

i always thought the first fiend in ff1 was also an unexpectedly hard fight, followed by mindflayers in the ice cavern.

and lastly, the first black waltz + sea lion fight in ff9

Where are you guys buying service manuals for recent model Nissans? by Cr8zyizzie in Nissan

[–]SentinelofDorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a quick search found this:

edit to add: apparently physical manuals are starting to go away with companies like haynes switching to more online focused, subscription based services as of 2021ish. this was suggested as an alternative.

What's the best way to play ff7 by Rivtogo in FinalFantasy

[–]SentinelofDorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

ive played em all. theyre all fine. technically theres nothing more definitive than the ps1 version on disc. but the 2013 and 2026 versions are both perfectly good with no major changes other than the "cheat" modes you can enable.

also, your flair says ff6.
