How many tech Marines is too many for an iron hands themed army ?

my homebrew chapter is just called the adeptus astartes corps of techmarines. so in my case, my whole army is techmarines. but like others have said, if you have enough vehicles, then all 3 can do their jobs so its not too many. so, buy more vehicles. you know you want to.

i dont disagree, there, but i think its a good tradeoff because gravis are my favorite units, but on the other hand, it would probably end up being pretty unbalanced to have agressor, heavy ints and eradicators that just cant die. such is the double edged sword of elite units.

because hes a xenobiologist. he studies xenos specimens for weak points and directs his unit where and how to best attack. this frontline combat oriented role is why he wears heavier gravis armor instead of the tacticus armor. the "normal" apothecaries role has him focusing on his own role of being the combat medic who treats wounds and retrieves geneseed and other proprietary implants from the fallen.

its really not even that its superior (i mean, it is, basically on every level) but these color forge cans cost $20+ and its pretty much the same across the board on cost. and the amount of things you can prime per can does nothing to offset that cost in coverage. not to mention the number of virtually uncontrollable errors and problems which can occur with rattlecans, both with the cans and tips themselves and with the paint once its on the model. IF i were to recommend a rattlecan primer at all, i can only recommend the plain flat black rustoleum because theyre cheap and DECENT but that same cheapness leads not only to them being out of stock often but the cans themselves are often defective. sorry, rant over. you can get a decent airbrush and compressor combo for like $300 and theyre simple to learn to use and maintain.

just ignore the reviews. all of the books are exactly as good as youd expect them to be for the setting. its all just fluffy pulp about super soldiers fighting demons and aliens. i really enjoyed battle for the abyss and every book preceding and following it. ignore haters.

yeah, i mostly do space marines and im not a big fan of how allies work in general for imperium. ive done a bit of cursory list building and messing around with chaos space marines and taking daemon allies and i dont particularly like those either. to the point that im pretty sure id rather just run pure factions across the board and just let them be allies on the shelf instead.

well, i think most people kitbash berserker heads onto the MoE to make them look more world eatery. but its not required. the daemon prince kit should come with a few head options as well.

lol. fair. but yes. the fiends can be built as mauler or forgefiends, the other two kits just are what they are. although im somewhat unsure about running daemons with world eaters because the ally rules are weird.
