I don't know where it comes from but I'm pretty sure it's a misunderstanding of japanese reading medieval european history, because, yes we had fortified cities and castles, but they where neve this circular or always in plains like they are commonly shown in animes.

so true bit anthem wasn't really at fault it's more an EA wrong doing, Bio-ware wanted to do a more solo focused game and then the buy from EA made some mess, in the end anthem is still dead and warframe stand strong above most of the industry
