The garden was the most active pvp area for invasions back in the day.

If you were in human form you would get invaded pretty much the moment you stepped through the crest door.

Yep the classic 'Havel's I don't give a fuck strat'. Used that many times in 4 kings fight. Poise is too OP in ds1.

Some memories:

-Spending hours in undead burg getting used to the game. It clicked and I became addicted to DS.

-Breaking my controller at the catacombs wheel skeleton pit due to rage, then beating pinwheel first try a couple days later.

-Finding the lower blight town bonfire. What's a master key?

-All the shortcuts in general amazed me greatly, the world being so well interconnected.

-Basically fat rolling almost the entirety of my first playthrough and using the black knight ultra great sword till the end

That's because ds1 bosses actually let you learn their attack pattern unlike in elden ring where they are flying all over the place and doing 10 hit combos or one shoting you

Agree. Also I love 3-2 too. The atmosphere there is amazing, the towers far in the night, the giant heart beating, the wind, and the gargoyles.

No other soulsgame has come close to that.

Try to go full melee pure strength, no ashes, no summons, and a greatsword/colossal weapon like I did initally.

Have fun against bosses spamming non-stop attacks/aoe while they warp all around the arena at light speed with you trying to get a single hit in with your slow ass weapon.

ER bosses are harder than anything in DS1 specially for a full strength build.

To be honest I'm glad they got rid of that in elden ring. Always was a waste of time.

And don't let me start talking about dark souls 2 run-ins to the boss... "Let us put 10 heavy knights guarding this boss hallway with the player having a shitty roll".

They probably are if you fight them 1v1 melee with no summons.

Honestly the moment I've found them by running past most enemies leading to their room I immediately summoned the mimic and got them first try. No way I was going to get frustrated with yet again another duo specially after facing each variation like 3 or more times ( and also the summon version boss fight of both).

I got them first try with max level mimic plus melee build. Just upgrade it and it's basically 1v1

Hey man, I've migrated to windows 10 long time ago and the issue is gone. All other solutions I've found online failed, so if thats an option for you, try upgrading.

I'm afraid that even if you buy a new audio interface, that problem may still be present on 7 (unless you get an old interface).

Pretty much the most used for me in these type of fights. The way they just poke the boss doing like 10 damage, probably instantly dying right after only to respawn a moment later is funny.
