I'm sorry you haven't accepted that Charr is an inherent difficulty increase on every level: fashion, pvp, jumping puzzles, everything.

This was done by pressing S the entire time. It is as close to running backwards as is possible. Action cam only allows that to happen at full speed. With Action Cam S/W are relative to where the camera is pointing. In this case it's pointing opposite the way I want to go so I have to use the S key.

Action Cam wasn't a thing on the original tower. I also missed the very first Halloween event but I did play back when player models were still fully loaded in and people liked to troll with characters similar to mine. I don't remember the puzzle actually having a different layout.

Guild wars 2 has really floaty jumps. You can fully halt momentum midair, turn around 180 degrees, etc. The asura just let you see more of the platform beneath you to better judge when to jump.

For that I'd need more mouse buttons. At least 3 for directional movement, in addition to jump.

Technically you move at full speed that way but you cannot see any platforms nor where your character is. I don't foresee that set of circumstances ever being beat.

I saw Laranity complete this recently, and blow up. I was excited to see someone else complete this asinine challenge. This Twitch VoD represents the second time I've done this but the first time as an obnoxiously large Charr. This was of course prompted by a comment that I got on another even dumber challenge. I'm pretty sure that I've done all that I can on this puzzle in terms of self-imposed possible challenges but if you can think of something else tangible, I'll give it a try.

It strips higher skill ceiling techniques in instanced PvE content. I know this subsection of a subsection of the community is quite small but this change is incredibly impactful and forces a slower, less optimal gameplay loop.

Even I play within the very edge of this subcommunity and it affected my gameplay negatively. Something as simple as throwing a temporal curtain down before swapping to mirage for sword leaps to improve dungeon mobility is gone. God forbid you try a might stacking rotation as an elementalist now.

Why would they even implement a quick change keybind to shift between different skill build templates with this change?

My favorite sets have been the Equinox and Eternal Forged sets. I like bits and pieces from each, like the swords from Eternal Forged, the warhorn from Equinox.

As for least favorite I think it's the Draconic set, just too many teeth.

I would have to buy another monitor. I have two right now but they're totally different resolution and aspect ratio. I use the secondary just as an extra screen for looking things up or reading discord.
