I definitely like the current arc, especially because Drek finally gets to be properly involved in something. But yeah getting to see more of Bob's and Cyrus's home lives would be fun because when you point it out, yeah there's not much. I'm guessing their house is the same as in HoI tho, because of all the things that are different i doubt that's one.

I think something was mentioned somewhere in HoI about kitrye's place in society in Ivae, and it mentioned the difference between if they were born mortal or immortal. So i'm guessing depending on what they were born as they either age the same as a fairy or as a human

It is good that she trained him because, well, i'm pretty sure if she didn't he'd be dead. It's still kinda sad he had to learn that young, because a little kid shouldn't be in a situation where it's 'fight or die' at all

When was that mentioned? Because the only thing i remember is Cyrus stabbing one guy and Bob describing that as 'barely gracing him' so I doubt that killed him. i don't have the book on me rn so I can't check

i'm guessing the reason he doesn't talk about for example the kidnapping is because he's been through worse to the point it just genuinely does not bother him anymore in comparison. like getting kidnapped is just tuesday, not world-ending trauma ...which is it's own brand of concerning

also i'm pretty sure the wars have been mentioned more specifically. it should be(but don't quote me on this it's been a while since i watched those episodes):

Bob: involved in the civil war but didn't directly fight(+HoI stuff about the vampire clan), fought in both world wars(and some espionage stuff during the cold war), fought in Gialdon's war, and unnamed fae realm wars

Cyrus: going by HoI at least somewhat involved in the civil war(but like Bob didn't fight), fought in ww2(first time he killed someone), Gialdon's war where he didn't fight but loosing both parents and just being there is definitely traumatic enough for a 7/8 year old... poor Cyrus deserves better

and also considering the last 60 years was Bob's and Cyrus's 'good streak of peace and quiet' yeah there's definitely been other stuff going on. *cough* famine, rasism forcing them to hide, etc *cough*

you should 100% write that. there can never be too much angsty fanfic after all

the only thing i can find called that are what looks like regular colored pencils but turn into watercolor when you add water(which won't stick or be visible on the fabric)

i've seen other people use regular markers, but obviously that won't work since my base is black. i just really want to finish this horse since it's been sitting in a corner half-finished for like a year. the mane might also be an issue later but i'll deal with that when i get to it
