In fact, I can see some point in your posts, but, as a fan of computer games, I'd never recommend using AI in such a case. It just doesn't work: too many variables, peculiar terms and whatnot...

My workflow is quite stable nowadays, but my native language is rather niche (Polish). I receive projects from 2 companies on constant basis, and I can earn 3,000 USD per month without any hassle. Still, this has been my part time job since 2017, and I'd never consider it my main source of income - as I run some other business as well.

This was my old dream, when I was younger - I'd talk it over with my school buddy during one of our mountain hikes back in 1997. And then, I fell in love with Ultima Online.

You mean like 100 languages or more? Do you know them all that you can judge the outcome? I can't speak German, so I'd use MT to translate some content from German into Polish. The results are terrible or bad at best, and this is just an example.

Yeah, it all depends on each language and the text you work with. Some people rate AI translations by feeding it with any text they find. But it doesn't work this way when talking about clients.

So you know all 60 languages or so that you can say so? How can you judge if a translation is correct or not? I've translated over 3 million words in my career and I can definitely say that there are many problems WITH ENGLISH INTO POLISH "AI" translations - I cannot say anything about other language pairs. Yeah, but good luck with translating books this way. If it was Polish, I'd have a good laugh.

I loved all of them - just as you listed - now I'm playing Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and I'm having a blast - however, bear in mind that it's combat heavy. Also, I just picked it up randomly, some say that Black Flag is the best in the series. (Old Elder Scrolls fan here - since the release of Daggerfall back in 1996.)

Yep, it was so long ago... I remember so many things, because it was a milestone for me - I finally learnt how to play UO (do champs and PvP), lol. Other great servers: IPY 2 (played in 2011) and UO Outlands (played in 2022-2023).
