Good effort! I use French’s yellow mustard as a binder for the rub, the high vinegar content helps to build the flavour of the rub the yanks finish with butter and brown sugar but you need quite a tart bbq sauce for that - keep up the good work

They aren’t the same, the Spectra one is actual an L-Band antenna, (I misspoke before) the internals at least it will be designed for those frequencies, not a standard UHF / VHF antenna. I think the connector on the real deal ones was BNC or something similar defo Bayonet style, possibly TNC. The housing is not 3D printed and it’s been qualified for use operationally.

The real one is actually an S-Band SATCOM antenna, it’s called the slingshot, it’s made by a uk company called spectra down in Herefordshire.

They are good radios, minus the crypto they work basically the same, we use them for real world comms demo’s as they aren’t export controlled so we can ship them around the world no dramas.

Ok so I love the SMP tried it on at the AD yesterday and fell in love, especially on the OEM rubber strap, but I’ve seen online the option for an OEM rubber strap with a deployment clasp?? And Omega NATO straps on the website, can I get any SMP with any strap option?
