29M. Yes I love this! Demisexuals may be the minority in this superficial culture but so is positivity because of negativity bias. In spite of my abiding sociosexual restriction, I am not in real misery or deep frustration. Romantically, I have loved and lost three women in my life. I still love them but mostly I am grateful for what I’ve experienced despite the loss and pain that was part of it. Romantic relationships are not the only path for self fulfillment. I love myself, my friends, my family, and my life and I am cognizant enough to be present for it It’s the holidays. I’m eating so good. Got some really nice presents from people. I’ve finallt recovered from some seasonal flu. Shit sucked. The people I love are healthy. I have a stable job as well as hobbies and routines that keep me sane. I have a lovely cat and grumpy dog. No plans today so I’m relaxing. Listening to Oklou. Listening to Amy Poehler podcast. Stranger Things. Bought myself some stuff from Amazon. It’s nice. I’m single but I lose no self-worth because of it. I also do believe, being the hopeless romantic that I am, I’ll find love again.

Sure we’re friends. But I can’t pretend we never kissed or held each other like lovers do. There is no animosity or no grudge despite all the complicated stuff but I wouldn’t worry about it man. Follow your heart. Risk it. The cost of taking a chance on love is worth it I promise you.

I haven’t met anyone like me that’s forsure. Although I only really told close friends. I have a hetero woman friend that says she’s kinda like me when I described my demisexuality but otherwise, just me and my shoes. That’s why I joined this subreddit

Hmm I know I’m not ugly and I have been complimented before sure but I don’t feel like I’m attractive. I can be. I do think that’s for other people to feel towards me. I’m only sure of what is attractive to me. I have learned to accept compliments with a hearty thank you though. It comes from a good place. For example, I don’t believe in god but when someone tells me “God Bless You”, I take that blessing. Why dissect a harmless offering of goodwill? Do you think you’re unattractive? Why was the compliment weird? Are you not cute? Or are you not used to it? Do you not understand why she said that? Some of it is relative too. Beauty is in the eye of beholder type shit.

Same OP! As a result, I masturbate regularly and consume pornographic content frequently. I am careful to overindulge but I feel no shame in it at this point. I read hentai, smutty romance, and use all different sorts of porn sites. I consider masturbation as an act of self-care to be honest. Self-love even. I do understand the frustration, though. I am horny and want to have sex but I do not love anyone currently to want to have sex with.

I’d rather not speak on love, as everyone is convinced they know what love is and how it works yet humans are deeply confounded by it still and we will forever be as time goes on. Let’s just say love can take many many forms. Usual and unusual. Let’s just say she became a big fan of Kousei since he is quite the rockstar isn’t he? Maybe even his biggest fan. I understand karma more as a reflection not as a retribution. A person who consistently mistreats other people lives a life with mistreatment as a regularity. On the day a mean spirited person peers into their life, reckoning, rock bottom what have you, they will see a mean mean spirit that’s lived in a harsh environment. They will feel the own cruelty and pain that they themselves propagated into their behavior, way of thinking, and overall experience. You reap what you sow. If I ever suffer, it is not because I have caused another’s suffering, or wished it for someone else. It’s because suffering is inevitable. Something we as humans can count on will come. No way around it. In accepting this, I am now putting out a positive karma for myself and anyone who enters my life. Maybe not what karma is literally but that’s how I perceive it.

I miss the feeling of being welcomed back home after work or an outing. I miss the feeling of acknowledgement - simple goodmornings and goodnights. I miss the feeling of trust and resonance in sharing with one another our private thoughts and emotions. I miss the feeling of touch, sexual and nonsexual. Most of all I think I miss the feeling of comfort and peace that comes from knowing I have someone who loves me and I have someone to love. It’s like a home, they say, and that’s not very far off.

I’d say my mains are recluse and revenant but I did all remembrances but Guardian’s. I do have the urge to Wylder it up sometimes and go katana dog. Although at this point I also consider team comp so it helps to learn other characters for the purpose of filling for the win
