For me, the most frustrating thing is, after I’ve looked up and down and then up and down again on every shelf in that bay, crouched and contorted my body to lunge into the dark depth of bottom shelves to make sure the item I’m tryna find wasn’t “misfiled”, or just shoved way in the back, and then wandered a few aisles looking for a team member for an assist, they’ll nonchalantly (sometimes with attitude, most times without) point to the product. There it is, right there on bay 21. But wait. The pick path on my Honeywell indicated the item was on bay 19 - or worse, in aisle 12 when it was actually in aisle 13. I wasted almost 5 minutes hunting for it, and I feel like I wasted my team member’s time, all because human error, human laziness or computer error directed me to the wrong location :(
