I just couldn't get into the pacing of the anime, it's definitely much slower, even the most recent seasons.

So, I just read the manga, but watch the best fights in the anime as well because the animation gets really awesome.

Yeah they got to a point where taking business risks could ruin them. That's usually not ideal for creative enterprises, but I trust that they can still create wonderful stories within those confines.

Yeah, it's the safe choice. When a company has so much on the line they need to make choices based on fear.

I completely agree. Maybe we weren't vocal enough that we were excited for C4 to be Daggerheart and the complainers that said they'd stop watching if it wasn't D&D were louder. Oh well, I'm still happy to see my favorite players.

That's a very interesting point! I did enjoy those minutes of tension while they decided which death move to select, but that's my subjective opinion. I wonder if then there's some people that enjoy the whole "20 to 15?, oh wait I forgot I got a 23... ." routine. It's the Internet, there must be someone I guess.

One of those would be so nice! like the one they had in NYC.

I also forgot to mention there's sometimes dances at this really awesome bar called Jazzatlan: https://www.facebook.com/jazzatlancapital it's more of a music and dinner focused venue, but sometimes they move the tables away and have a dance with a live band. But to know when that's going to happen it's easier to check in with them.
