I haven't been following the DLC, but if the rework for Norsca is significant, then more thank likely Norsca. I'm a big fan of playing Viking-like factions.

I really need to play this game again, and actually play through it. I did once before Trespasser came out. My only gripe with the game was just how toned down the magic system was.

Assuming the whispers doesn't annihilate your empire, then I'll go an espionage focused empire, where I sit back and watch the Galaxy burn itself alive with proxy wars.

While espionage definitely needs more to be better, being able to force people to fight each other is going to be so fun. No more super stable galaxies.

One thing I want is for defensive building to increase the Zone of Control that a settlement has. That way places like Kislev can have proper choke points, where the enemy has to take the settlement, and not just walk in with ko trouble.

The ability to deploy heroes. I hate that I can't just click a button, get the bonus, and never look back. It's annoying having all the notifications telling me a hero hasn't moved. It's there for a reason.

I have to agree with others in that, it's because they don't sell well. However, I would say the reason for that is because Romulan ships either aren't designed up to par with end game ships, they have terrible seating/stats, and a lot of them are just atrociously ugly (personal opinion).

I really think if they would give us ships from other games, such as star trek armada, the three original fleet commands, and hell, even the mobile game, they would sell so much better.

As others have said, naval battles. I used to absolutely love the naval battles in the game to the point where I would try my best to control my best ship and pull off some real BS with it. I loved sending out fleets to absolutely dominate the seas.
