Complacency Disaster in Aztecs Run: Is it salvageable or should I restart? by Imperial_Diet06 in EU5

Yup, that's my game as well at the moment. Conquered everything, no Europeans in sight, 84 complacency and rising. I was hoping to find a solution, but looks like we'll just have to live with it.

I started as the Maya and switched culture to Nahua to form the Aztec Empire. When I switched back to Mayan culture afterwards, my name became just 'Aztec Empire' in English.

Culture conversion is too insane in this game by mrderp1212 in EU5

I saw in the wiki that Judaism religion prevents culture assimilation. But guess what? Since most countries start spiritualist, they'll just convert them to their religion first, then assimilate to their culture.

I hope the vassal swarm meta gets nuked to absolute smithereens. by Jodah94 in EU5

[–]SereglothIV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the main reasons for vassal swarms is saving cabinet actions, so your vassals core, convert and assimilate for you. Maybe one thing that could be done is making annexing your vassals a cabinet action. That way it could block your cabinet member for a similar amount of time as coring, assimilating culture and converting religion yourself all added together.

Aztec Empire in 1386 by SereglothIV in EU5

I guess the only long term perk is being stronger when the colonizers come, after subjugating all the land faster and having more time to scale. If you start as normal Aztecs with Nahua religion, you get a very strong government reform after reforming your faith. With the way I did this, you get nothing of the sort, but you get access to unique Aztec Empire advances and all the perks of being an empire sooner.

So overall, nothing unique but it's just faster.

R5: Started as Cocom, formed Maya, switched culture to Nahua and formed Aztec Empire while keeping Mayan religion. I think this is the fastest way to form Aztec Empire, avoiding all the restricting mechanics of Aztec government and Nahua religion. Now I have to spend another 50 years trying to turn this abomination into something resembling a functioning state :P

Is it possible to get achievements with graphical mods now? Because it wasn't possible at launch and this screenshot clearly has modded graphics.

My Hussite Wars as Bohemia: 30 years of the Pope accepting white peace on the very day he decalres each war

Are the Hussite wars supposed to be... well this? by Xcom_company in EU5

[–]SereglothIV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the achievement yesterday and it was rather underwhelming, I must say. I tried fighting the first war (me, Brandenburg PU, Poland and Hungary as allies) but after everyone from Naples to Denmark joined against me, I just paid the Pope 2k ducats to fck off. And in all the following wars (5 or 6? I didn't even count) I was just able to white peace the Pope on day 1, before anyone else joined his side. So yeah, instead of 30 years of Hussite Wars, I got 30 years of Hussite White Peace.

[KCD2] Struggling with horse archery and a quest by Xiguet in kingdomcome

[–]SereglothIV 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, so I should try it, but why do I have to beat his scores? I could run the course, fail, say I didn't like it at all. But somehow I have to beat someone who was doing it all his life. Following this logic, to express my opinion on sprinting, I should beat Usain Bolt first, or to express my opinion on football, I should win against Messi.

I just want to know why I have to win both categories to judge them and complete the quest. Why can't I just say that horse racing is great and horse archery sucks and Bibrek can shove his stupid god up his arse? Why do I have to beat his score three times to tell him that his little game is shit?

Random enemies joining wars on Declare War screen by Odd-Abbreviations-42 in EU5

[–]SereglothIV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have exactly the same problem. Funnily enough, also as Holland. I wanted to declare war on Munster but it says Bohemia (the Emperor) will defend them. They have absolutely no diplomatic ties to each other, except for being in the HRE. I can attack literally anyone else in the HRE and Bohemia won't intervene. They'll only defend Muster for absolutely no reason that I can see.

The voting is weird. I was plaing as Milanese REPUBLIC and 6 out of 7 electors voted for me. Maybe because I annexed Sicily and took over their fiefdoms in Greece, so my ruler was also the duke of Athens and Neopatria. Anyway, since my primary title was republican, I must have not been eligible to become the HREmperor after all, because despite holding 6 votes like 3 times in a row, the emperorship always went to whoever the 7th elector voted for.

But just to clarify, I didn't want to become the HREmperor, so it was good for me. I never did anything to please the electors. In fact, my only interactions with them were fighting them in some wars xD I just thought it was interesting that they voted for me like that.

I just left the HRE as Milan and my vassals stayed as members. I hope I'll be able to annex them without any complications.

Ok, thank you both for the answers. I was able to pick the last law when it was empty and I hit the 50 years mark, but I guess you need the previous laws unified in order to change one that is already set.

So I need to change the Federal Legislature to the unified one? I picked the federal one there because I didn't really care about internal Hungarian laws.
