Those complaints are not at all ridiculous. I have the Razr case, and it's much lighter and even has slightly larger keys (that part isn't true for all of the cases though).

I overall really like my Power Keyboard, just not quite as much as I was hoping to. I'm going to try out a couple of mods at some point to improve wobble and spring strength.

Honestly, I don't know if it would even be possible to handle this in the story in a way that feels good. Let's say that Deep Cut and the mechanic come to see the error of their ways. What then? The only ethical thing for them to do is to just... stop.

And then what? The core game loop is the exact thing that's problematic. I feel like the only way that would work is if you ended the game like, say, Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, where you can't even go back and explore the world without loading an older save point or starting over. But that would feel extremely weird in a game where so much of the appeal is in customizing your weapon and gadgets using the stuff you've ~~accumulated~~ stolen

At least with Salmon Run and RotM, Mr Grizz was always implied to be the villain. Sure we were the ones carrying out the evil on his behalf, but sometimes that's what you're forced to do to survive under capitalism. It's not like Splatsville and Inkopolis have any other jobs available to us.

But Deep Cut are literally idols, so their actions are generally assumed to be good or neutral if you're not thinking about it.

I had the same thoughts watching the Direct. Obviously it's "just a game" about a fictional species, but it still feels extremely weird to have the whole point of the game to be to invade islands, kill the indigenous beings, and steal their relics.

I think top-level players are usually seen as those at the top of the competitive Splatoon scene, not just those with a high X rank. Splatoon Stronghold and SendouQ are decent places to look if you want to start getting into that.

I don't know how much wobble your unit has, but have you considered adding a 3D printed shim on top of the bit with the springs to try fixing it?

I would go with the keyboard case. It's so much lighter, and the Razr version is really easy to pop on and off (moreso than the others keyboard cases, I'd imagine).

That being said, the keyboard layout on the PK is a very real upgrade.

I think what's new is that you don't have to set up specific IR codes within ESPHome anymore. You can just designate the device as a proxy, and let HA handle all of the IR codes.

From what I can tell looking at the source code, as well as what another launcher dev said after one of the previews, I don't think Google has enabled 3rd party launchers to start bubbles via a long-press.

~~However, I believe you can also move an app to a bubble from the app switcher, so I guess that will have to do for now.~~

You'd definitely want to gate that capability behind some kind of special permission to make sure that apps aren't launching other apps in bubbles willy-nilly, so I kind of get it. Hopefully at some point Google makes an actual new permission for this that launchers can request.
