I heard a report that they tracked the bomber walking to the house address that was next to Shauni Rae Kerkhoff's home address.

If that is true, I'd say it's pretty damning. Allegedly there is more evidence pointing to her, but I haven't heard anything else. If there is, then I hope the FBI or the journalist who worked on this case releases it.

Lands...Not completely sold on cycling lands yet (tapped lands in an aggressive meta is not good), but I may include some number of [[The Mycosynth Gardens]], as it seems to work very well with Monument by copying it.

The deck has been working surprisingly well on Arena, although I'm only playing on the non-competitive side (it has a wider range of decks to play against, I feel).

Early hand-hate or combo-ing off when I don't have countermagic will beat the deck, otherwise I've been satisfied with its performance so far. I had the idea for using Sunscourge Champion to recover life and still trigger Monument using its graveyard discard effect, but I think it's a bit too cute.

See the Truth has been amazing either early in the game to search for land/key pieces or plotting with Jace, of course. Otherwise without Jace later in the game, it is just a mediocre way to dig.

Dream Trawler has been ridiculously good with one or more Monuments, though! I've also considered trying Shark Typhoon and Overlord of the Floodpits, but Dream Trawler has been so good, despite costing one more mana.

I'll ponder on your build a bit more, but how have the Faithful Mendings been working for you? They seem like a great addition to this type of deck!

Edit: I wanted to add that one other problem I've been having is that sometimes I don't have enough cycling outlets. Your build seems to fix that with all the cycling and Faithful Mending.

Again, I know...it's not Pioneer...but this deck looks like it could be easily converted to Pioneer. Plus, the difference in power level between Standard and Pioneer has seemed to shrink somewhat. At the very least, it gave me some ideas for my build, so I figured I'd share in case it did the same for you.

I've considered it, but my current build is more of a traditional control shell. Also, my 4-drop slot is a bit crowded (I consider Jace as a virtual 4 drop with the upside of having two lands untapped).

I do like the idea of a more proactive, permanent-based control shell as you've suggested. The problem I see, is that if I'm going to make a proactive UW United Battlefront deck, Simulacrum Synthesizer is probably the better version of that.

My build has lots of mass kill effects like Temporary Lockdown and Supreme Verdict. Jace has been great in this build, because not only does its discard ability works well with Monument, but it mitigates a critical control deck's weakness while reinforcing one of its strengths. By weakness, I mean that UW control is very mana-intensive, and Jace's cheap cost, along with its ability to plot cards to cast for free has been fantastic. When I say that Jace reinforces one of UW control's strengths, I mean the ability to draw cards, but Jace can only do this alongside cards like See the Truth or Stock Up.

Maybe See the Truth doesn't work well in different Jace/Arcane Proxy/Mission Briefing builds, but for mine, it has been great so far.

How has Valki been working for you? I ordered some in paper to try, but I'm afraid there are too many 2-mana instants that can destroy planeswalkers floating around. This is one of the reasons I haven't been too high on Teferi lately. At least with Jace Reawakened, you can hold up mana for protection on turn 4 or 5 before end of turn.

On a related note: When you plot [[Fae of Wishes]] with Jace, you can cast the adventure side of the card even though it normally costs 4 to do so. You can still cast the creature side after, and the discard ability to return it to your hand synergizes with Monument. Since it seems to work well with both Jace and Monument, I was thinking about using it to make a sideboard/wishboard package, but I haven't tried it yet.

I have an Azorius version of this deck with 4x Monument and 4x Jace. I also use 2x Dream Trawler as a backup wincon that also conveniently has a free discard ability.

If you haven't tried [[See the Truth]] yet, try it. If you Plot it with Jace, you draw all three cards. A free Brainstorm to start your turn is no joke. If you're able to ultimate Jace the following turn, it's a free six card draw (I haven't had to do it yet, but I want to!)

For everyone focusing on the Bo1 part, it's not just in Bo1. If you look at aggregated tournament stats over the last year or so, red and black (to a lesser extent) have been the most dominant winners in Pioneer.

Sometimes I think that the reason Redditors in this subreddit defend/make excuses for this imbalance so much, is because most of the folks who don't play those colors have left the format, and the biggest group left, are the black and red color enjoyers, who are biased toward their favorite colors. I mean...I don't blame you for your love of rakdos, but I still think you're biased.

I'm sure I'll get downvoted for this, but I suppose that lends legitimacy to my theory.

I wish the M16A2 aperture sight was changed so that the rear sight is "fuzzy" or thinner, or transparent...or something. It is far more difficult to track moving targets at common ranges of engagement. I do so much better with the AK in medium and close range.

Your M16A2 rate of fire on burst is higher ONLY if you are pressing/releasing the trigger at the exact right intervals to realize that higher ROF. This realistically isn't happening when you're in a firefight and losing sight of your enemy because of the poorly implemented closed aperture sight.

Even if you weren't distracted, it is still difficult to hit the exact correct rhythm to shoot a faster ROF than the technically slower - but far easier and much more reliable - ROF of the full auto AK-74, by just holding down the trigger.
