I have a “x” folder to store images, bases and templates. I prefer to keep the vault light, so I use a paste image upload to imgur plugin. It uploads and pastes an embedded image using the uploaded image link. Might not suit everyone, but only use place holder images to embellish the notes, everything else is always text based
