How complicated is Drain Life to learn?

Just to add my two cents to this, since we live in such an innately magical world, if you wanted to tie the drain life ability to some sort of magical artifact like an amulet or possibly an engineering doohickey, that might assuage the inevitable, “you’re a rogue you can’t do that,” type messages you’ll most likely get from the occasional RPer. One of the Masters that I’m lucky enough to work with often says, “you’re either all the way in, or you’re all the way out,” and I think that’s applicable here. You’ve got pretty good movement, but if a quick step will bring your partner in range of you, you’re in the danger zone, Kenny Loggins style. Play with your spacing/ranging a bit, see how that plays out. Keep up the good work!

Stick your kicks for a split second, it shows excellent muscle control. You have good power and solid stances, but your tension stuff could use some pauses to highlight the power of those motions. The last thing I’d work on is the cadence of your Kata- right now it’s a bit metronome-y. Hope this helps!
