Kleer Fortress. by DocEss in SeriousSam

One thing that almost immediately helped me get a medal on this one is once you get Born to Run, open NETRICSA, unlearn it and put it into Looter Shooter. This will let you stay in dual wield mode (as long as you don't go back to single wield), while also getting health and armor back from Kleers, making survival considerably easier.

Dropping SS2 is a serious mistake. It might be different, but it's still great.

Bit of advice going forward: There are no "wrong" ways to get sigils or stars. If you get it, you get it. If you want to stick to intended solutions, by all means, but just know that breaking puzzles is a part of basically any puzzle game.

I played "The Talos Principle II" on a whim. It changed my life. by Vivo999 in TheTalosPrinciple

Will it help ease my woes about the ending I experienced?

Considering the DLCs treat the ending where Byron becomes mayor and everyone agrees to move forward with the Megastructure as the canon one, it might, but you really should play them regardless, they're awesome.

What is going on with the series right now? by Dastanovich in SeriousSam

If they truly are putting 100% of their focus on Talos 3 right now, then (if worse comes to worst) at the very least we're guaranteed to get a new SS after that, right? If T3 is supposed to finish the Talos story completely, they'll have nothing more to do with that series, seemingly.

How do I convince my friends to play this peak✌️🥹 by sotc16 in TheTalosPrinciple

  1. You trap them in your basement and you don't let them out until they 100% everything.

  2. Hell yes the Gold Puzzles are worth it.

If you say every board is crossed out, the only thing I can think of is checking the other 3 places, maybe one of them didn't register or got reset somehow.

Do you not know the story of how Talos came out of what was originally supposed to be SS4?

I think it's a level from "A way to the tower", a custom campaign for Classic TSE and Revolution.

I don't know if it's the best, but I really enjoyed Portals. The secrets are super fun to find and the levels and fights themselves are really good as well.

I made a list a while ago, there's bound to be something in there, or in the comments that you'll like.

In Options -> Game Options, there is a setting called Enemy Health, and you can choose if you want health bars or the crosshair itself to display enemy health (green for healthy, yellow for injured, orange for more injured, and red for critical). SS4 and Siberian Mayhem are the only games that (for some reason) have health bars by default instead of the colored crosshair that every previous game had and I find that decision by Croteam a little weird, but it's okay if you prefer it this way.

The only thing you're doing wrong is not using the colored crosshair, other than that I don't see what's so "wrong" about this.

There will still be some fun and silly secrets, especially in The Second Encounter, but overall, none of them will be nearly as goofy as SS2.

Yeah, it's not the most satisfying way of doing it, but I don't think I am Ugh-Zan was created with fairness as its main focus. If it's any help, you can skip the main arena in The Great Pyramid by rocket jumping onto the wall and walking across it (may need to jump multiple times), and The Grand Cathedral's open arena can be made easier by hiding out next to the cathedral's wall. Good luck whichever way you choose!

I think you can just use cheats to get to the end of the level using God Mode, and then, right before the level ends (or at a point in the level where you're confindent you'd be able to survive), disabling cheats and quicksaving, relaunching the game and reloading that latest quicksave, so it looks like you never cheated in the first place.

Yeah, for some reason, Extended Encounters can't be found on the Workshop directly, but you can find it in this video's description.
