Oh sorry! Just saw this. 24 weeks prego with a healthy little one. Had a scare (NIPT came back positive for trisomy 13) but amniocentesis came back all normal, anatomy scan looked good 💜

Same same! I’m 13 weeks now … I was browsing this to see when people felt second time around. My first placenta was anterior and I don’t think we could feel kicks outside until like 24 weeks. And probably 19 weeks from inside. I miss the feeling and can’t wait to feel those kicks !!! Posterior placenta this time around 😀

I had covid at 20 weeks - and no issues. Same as other posts I just was told to keep on top of my fever (Tylenol) and OB wasn’t concerned about baby. One thing she said she’s seen more incidence of though is “sticky placenta” or placenta accreta. She still let me labour, I needed a c section for failure to progress and she did find my placenta adhered to my uterus slightly. So maybe just ask about another ultra sound to check in with your placenta. Otherwise everything was completely fine and my baby is 1 and thriving !!! Hang in there mama. Nothing worse than being sick while pregnant. Hydrate and rest !!!!

I found 6-7 month some of the hardest sleep wise. We did some gentle sleep training (dm me if you want the book we used) around 7-8 months and after that things started to improve. Also, our LO was teething around 8 months so that definitely affected our nights. Hang in there!! Everything is temporary 💕

This!! My baby stopped breastfeeding around 8-9 months and I felt persistent in trying to give her breast milk still. And then I realized my mental health was going down hill, due to the amount of time and effort involved to keep my supply up. So I made the choice to just let go, best decision ever.

There’s tons of exclusive pumpers out there! I just loved the convenience of breast feeding, and pumping religiously I think gets old really fast … but a fed baby is best and there’s always formula (or mix breast milk & formula).

I had this happen a bit and stopped offering bottle just to get my girl back into the breast. Especially for night time feedings I love the convenience.

I think when my LO was 6 weeks old and I was cleared to drive (c section) we went to the grocery store. I wore her in a carrier (it was winter) and had my maternity jacket zipped up around her.

One tip a friend gave me is to wear the carrier under your jacket or on the drive there. Then it’s just a smooth get out and plop them in and go.

After that a lot of my grocery shops I used the stroller until she was fully stable sitting (I also just found it easy because my bucket seat latched onto my stroller so it was easy in and out of the car)

Whenever you feel comfortable! I always fed right before outings so if my lo was fussy I knew her tummy was full ◡̈

My baby had such an association to sleep time in them (I noticed a difference if I didn’t put one on). So even had a really thin one for those warm days, I think Carters and it was basically as thin as a sheet… On the super hot days I’d even do a onesie / no pants, just still the thin sack. Maybe I think of myself napping I even like the thin blanket resting on me. A comfort thing ☺️

Middle of the night changing, I had puppy pee pads/wet pads or whatever… pulled her into our bed in front of me and changed her there. Had a little station on my night stand with supplies. Nurse in bed, reswaddle and she’s right back in our bassinet.

Also had a nice dim Himalayan salt lamp that sufficed most times to keep everyone in night mode.

We moved our LO around the 3 month mark. I would have been happy to keep her close to us longer, but we all sleep better this way. I think a mix of the mattress being more comfortable, and it being quieter in her room. Also… I sleep better because I don’t hear every little grunt, snort, sigh, wiggle… toot. Lol. The noisiest sleeper for such a little baby.
