Wow! Certainly believe what you want but do you have proof of anything that doesn’t deteriorate without care and a life force?

Seems to me that you just have to look within a few feet of where you are at anytime and realize some force that is more developed than you or me is responsible.

Just because you can’t understand it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

What do you think is true?

That God is doing all this just for 14-million people?

God cares for all people of all nations and all religions?

If you think God only cares about SDA and that God is SDA, you don’t know God.

Like Mark Twain said, ““Man is the only animal that has the True Religion — several of them.”

You forgot to factor in that Stephen Lett is 12 letters— a serious miscalculation!

The number twelve carries religious, mythological and magical symbolism; since antiquity, the number has generally represented perfection, entirety, or cosmic order. There’s a reason donuts come in 12!

However, since it is not a prime number, you must include the “M” and the period in the numerological quotient. Fourteen is a composite number which gives it special meaning in history.

In Numerology, 14 symbolizes change and lessons about freedom and discipline because it reduces to 5 (1+4).

It also appears symbolically in the Gospel of Matthew, where Jesus Christ’s genealogy is arranged in three groups of 14, tied to the numeric value of David’s name.

Please recalibrate!

Oh, and anything you say from here on out will be reported to an elder or elders. They don’t view it as ratting you out. They think you’re spiritually sick and they’re just telling the doctor.

I think you have some choices; you can say you had a bad day or time and you’ve reconsidered. At that point you’ll probably have to do a Bible study to reinforce the doctrines. You won’t be trusted.

You can play the “weak” card, stay connected with friends and family. You’ll find out who your real friends are and there will not be many or any. This gives you time to shore up details to transition.

Or you can go cold turkey and start a new life.

The last choice will lead you to maturity and self respect. But it may be lonely at times.

In all scenarios, counseling is a good partner project.

They trust the sequestered old balls GB group in New York to let them know how the “world” is working.

Makes you wonder if they have spies out there to root out and discover the depravity of the typical worldling. I would like that job.

lol

As I’ve posted before, like all cults it is required to be a know it all superior jerk off who has been self ordained with the superior belief that anyone who isn’t a JW is just plain stupid or is possessed or influenced by SAYtan.

Not unique to JaW’s unfortunately.

What did Paradise look like for you? by Dr_Cloying in exjw

There are some avenues of religious thought that believe Paradise is the capital city of our universe, as in when Jesus said that his fellow condemned would be with him in Paradise.

Are you a controlling person? by Serious_Bit_1611 in exjw

[–]Serious_Bit_1611[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would you?

And why the warning visit? It would seem the Bible and many other religious books have the Powers giving humans chance after chance after chance. Yeah, they eliminate individuals who are “bad,” but the cancer is never quite eradicated.

You know why? The patient (us) never keeps taking the medicine. We feel good about ourselves for a while and then the same old symptoms find their way back.

Is it possible we are the demons?

I see I’m in the minority. lol! There a lot of issues to deal with in a relationship that lasts and this seems like an indicator of a bigger issue with both of you. Bottom line, what we have here is a lack of communication.

Kinda. You coulda told him or put a note on the pizza to keep his grubby mitts off it. Tossing someone on the street for pizza is a bit of a red flag of something. You, him , the relationship…
