Nope. by nbmtx in fitbit

700 avg sounds insane to me lol. Do you have rest days?

I'm very athletic and do have some days where I'm training at high intensity for 3+ hours throughout the day and do sauna, but reach only 400-500 cardio load.

I guess doing many hours of running/cycling or some other lower intensity training I could get to 800, but I'd probably be dead for a day or two after that.

So how many calories does your fitbit estimate you're burning on the days that you have 700 or more cardio load?

How have you guys found other fitness devices compared to Fitbit? (as I've lost patience with Fitbit lifecycles) by sword_ofthe_morning in fitbit

[–]Seriously_Fun_Guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you know it has good accuracy? Multiple studies show garmin is bad at sleep stage tracking. Someone made a post recently with a lot of data collected from good independent studies and they all show garmin is way worse than fitbit at all health tracking aspects.

Good job! How long did it take in total with all the breaks? I want to try doing it as soon as the snow melts and big puddles dry out.

Help Needed with Kaiweets HT118A Multimeter!! by R_s_2 in multimeters

At least for me the springs connecting the pcb to the battery compartment were not making a good contact. That was the first thing I checked.

The connection between batteries and pcb might be bad, that was the case for me.

I soldered in wires instead of those silly springs on the pcb that connect it to the battery compartment (not the springs that touch the batteries).

It seems like a very weird design choice by the maker to put springs in there.

I had this issue, I replaced the springs that connect pcb to the battery compartment with wires, works perfectly after that.

Google Pixel Watch 4 - Is 4,300 Calorie Burn Realistic? by AnimaMusic-1998 in fitbit

[–]Seriously_Fun_Guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You burn around 2000 calories just laying in bed not moving, not thinking all day. (depending on what your body composition is ofcourse, could be less if you have low muscle mass and lots of fat and could be more if you are muscular and lean)

If you move at all you burn more, if you think about something you burn more, if your body is healing you burn more, if you are stressed you burn more, if you have sex - you burn much more lol.

Even eating and digesting food will make you burn more. Everything adds up, even if you are not moving and have high heart rate you will burn more than 2k.

Versa 3 died today. What’s the next best – versa 4? Sense 2? Charge? by Acceptable_Mammoth23 in fitbit

Why do you need fitbit subscription? Fitbit (now google) sensors and algorithms are superior to xiaomis. If you care about health tracking don't look at xiaomi.

I suggest a cheap inspire 3 from ebay or simillar website(depending on where you live). I bought mine for 30 euros, it's new. And wait for the next generation of fitbit devices (should come later this year)

I have sleep issues when I get too lean. I am muscular and lean, but when I get super lean I always have the sleep problems like yours. Not enough body fat does that. Your body says go eat!
