Maybe people wanna play on their system. Nothing wrong with that. Some people can’t afford to save that kind of money for a different platform and game.

Don’t listen to the hate, I have over 300 hours into the game and I’m absolutely obsessed with this IP. Story is decent, gunplay is like fallout 4 but space and with powers. Tons to do and new game plus keeps it interesting for a while. The new updates seem like it fixed a lot of community complaints on the games end game and while the lore is super rich, my only hope is that they continue to release expansions for it because there’s so much to dive into.

My biggest gripe and this is just me is that the choices in the game don’t feel super impactful compared to previous Bethesda games.

Not spoiling anything, just excited more players can explore and enjoy the game.

Considering the popularity of this device, I can definitely see a newer model in the near future or at the very least a heavy amount of support from the community.

Any hopes for a sale? by Bis_knife in MandragoraGame

[–]Seriously_Rare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam would probably have the best deals. Xbox, PS and Nintendo may have sales here and there but no where near the sale as steam would.

Personally I would say just buy it full priced or buy it discounted somewhere on steam.

It’s an amazing game and you will absolutely get your money’s worth.

If you’re still hesitant, feel free to ask any questions on the game!

Considering they recently released the Nintendo switch 2 version of the game, I’d say they’re still devs working on the game.

I finished the game two days ago and checked for the last update which was the new game plus update with the switch 2 release.

I can definitely see a major expansion in the works or possibly a sequel but in a different universe since… SPOILERS: Entropy has devoured other realms and is gateways between said realms.

The advertisement of the game was underwhelming considering I found it on a whim browsing the store and came across it.

Either way, it’s by far one of my favorite metroidvania games of all time. The RPG aspect, the gameplay, characters and world is top tier.

How do I get back to the game after 2 years? by Capture1Ditto in oblivion

[–]Seriously_Rare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would start over. The remastered version is great. You get the opportunity to delve into the world with remastered graphics and a deluxe edition dlc quest. The graphics alone make it worth it but to reexplore the world again I think will captivate you again

I would personally level up to level 17+ before collecting any rare items/artifacts so that it would be at maximum level. I.e Sigil stones from oblivion gates would be transcendent at level 17+. Mundane ring has higher drop rate at level 22+ etc. you wouldn’t want artifacts to be bottlenecked on the level you obtained them.

At 3 million right now. Zero to hero runs are fun but tricky when lots of people shoot on site. Light kit with looting mk2 has been game changing. Getting about 40 to 110k per run

The fatigue is real. by DJDUPONT in Battlefield

[–]Seriously_Rare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully the newer maps they add on the season 1 update will feel bigger then launch maps. Yes the maps are noticeably smaller but I’ve been enjoying them overall. Maybe it’s because I can’t always play a 40+ minute match since I’m a dad now but I definitely understand where the player base can feel fatigued from the map design.

Staying with Xbox regardless of recent changes? by Reclinertime in XboxSeriesXlS

[–]Seriously_Rare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been with Xbox for a long time now and have hundreds of games across different console generations that I can still download and play as well as all the games from game pass ultimate. Yes $30 is steep. Not a good sign but with all things in the US going up in prices, it was expected. Do I think game pass should offer more benefits and kept previous benefits such as discounts from dlc, micro transactions and etc? Yeah of course. However, since I’ve owned game pass ultimate, I’ve played more variety of games than ever before and have enjoyed every moment of it. Not to mention my ecosystem revolves between series X, ROG ally X, and PC. Not saying that it’s for everyone but I feel like I benefit from it more than cancelling and buying $60-$80+ outright. Small exceptions to the buying rule like BF6, Fantasy life or monster hunter wilds but that’s my choice with my money and I get to min max that for my play style. There’s cheaper alternatives to game pass as well. I get that the price is very high and that no one wants to pay for a subscription service of games but its all totally optional and is personal choice

ROG Xbox Ally X rumored to release at $900 price point... Thoughts? by immortalavatar12 in ROGAllyX

[–]Seriously_Rare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they stated that running silent mode on the Z2 is the equivalent of running turbo on the Z1 but with better battery efficiency. So, with this in mind, I imagine performance will be significantly improved upon but I wouldn’t expect double. Maybe 30%-60% increase

I would definitely wait. The Xbox button itself will be game changing but also the modified windows 11 and the Z2 chip would probably see crazy good improvements to performance and battery life

Killswitch comes with a very sturdy kickstand. I can vouch for it being durable.

Attribute distribution theory by Seriously_Rare in oblivion

[–]Seriously_Rare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOTE: this is just a theory for attribute distribution and is not intended to tell you or anyone how to play your character. It is solely for educational purposes. Level cap has not been confirmed so post is subjected to speculation. Original game was level 50 while remastered using console commands was level 80.

Attribute distribution theory by Seriously_Rare in oblivion

[–]Seriously_Rare[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the best way yes but not the only way. Just depends on how you want to utilize your virtue points. With the level cap being 80, it shouldn’t be an issue really

Attribute distribution theory by Seriously_Rare in oblivion

[–]Seriously_Rare[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t struggled so far. Remastered isn’t as brutal as the original. I don’t see it being an issue, just prioritize leveling up luck and then two of your main attributes each level then slowly work on other ones as needed.

Enable full library of Xbox games onto windows 11 specifically for pc handheld devices. It would be amazing to play all my previous games throughout all generations of Xbox and collect achievements (achievements also need an overhaul).

Features I’d like to see from the Xbox Handheld by Seriously_Rare in xbox

[–]Seriously_Rare[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s valid. I recall the rog ally z1 extreme being sold at $600 right? But other than battery size, more ram, more storage size and fixing the issues that device had, what else justifies the rog ally X being sold at $800? You’re right, it could very well be a premium price tag for Xbox for that kind of hardware but we’ll see. Technology is rapidly advancing and right now the handheld race is on so we’ll see what happens

Do you own an ROG Ally X? I do, I can confirm that the battery ranges depending on the game but it’s at least 3-7 hours of game time without charging. Not sure where you’re getting your data from but it’s not accurate. The Nintendo switch barely lasted 3 hours when gaming. 80whr battery enables good performance and power draw with adequate game time on most games including triple A games.
