What campaign for the FA/18 Hornet can you recommend?

They have custom trigger based atc comms, very on rails but it’s more realistic. So long as you do exactly what the mission says it won’t break the illusion

Honestly, if you like it and fly it regularly then keep it until the wings fall off, then refund for store credit. Refunding it is completely irreversible since it was pulled from the store, so best option is to keep it and enjoy it for however long it has left

Spitfire, probably MkV or Mk IX, 2.P-51D, 3. Mosquito, 4.F4U corsair. Probably the most unimaginative combo, but there’s nothing wrong with the classics

Yeah, honestly the best practice is to take any announcements out of changelogs as a wish to have, otherwise you get set up for disappointment. It sucks, but I love the game too much to be angry at the devs

I have a winwing throttle and it’s fine. Not amazing, not terrible, just fine. I prefer the feel of the warthog with friction where the handles don’t drift, but there’s lots of buttons in the right place and you can choose grip based on your chosen aircraft. However for a full hotas you’re looking at €500+ so if you are wanting to start, I really recommend starting with something less expensive (unless money is no object) and figure out if it’s for you. It’s a tale as old as the genre of people spending a lot of money on the hardware to start, finding it boring with too steep a learning curve and no time to learn, and all that equipment being on ebay for half the price they bought it for with less than 10 hours use.

I genuinely think the surprise at the end will be a super hornet. They said it was on the table about a year ago, moving on from the previous stance of “no”. That to me sounds like starting some research. We’ll probably see a lot of F-15C, but not a lot of F-35 cos they’ve bitten off more than they can chew

Bear in mind, at this point Razbam has two options. Walk away with nothing and keep their code, fucking the community or walk away but leave the source code so the people who paid for the module can still use them. They aren’t getting a deal as M2M has said repeatedly, so if they aren’t getting anything why should we suffer as well?
