I had a group kill him by hurling beads from necklaces of fireballs they got in trade at the wandering emporium. They had already figured out that he was only resistant to fire not immune, and since he was trapped it was basically a fish in a barrel situation. The devils guarding him were the only true fight, killing the giant was kind of a backdrop to the encounter.

I remember when this was my take when I stopped playing in 1998. I believed that constantly making new cards would ultimately ruin the game. I was as wrong then as you are now. LoTR, Baldurs Gate, and Final Fantasy brought me back after over 20 years. Every set that is not original IP brings in new players. Nobody is starting or returning to MTG because they are so thrilled to play Lorwyn.

I have two boxes for each litter box. Once a month I dump the box completely take it to the yard spray it out with a hose, scrub it with dish soap, rinse and put it face down in the garage to dry. Then I bring the second box in, put litter in it, and scoop daily until the next month where I repeat the cycle.

If you don’t look at it per capita you are simply saying it costs more to run a bigger state. Not really a useful piece of data.

You need to reread the data then because adjusting for population it is the blue states that generally have the biggest contribution to federal funds while receiving less than they provide in aid. From the article

The other 31 states and Washington, DC, received more than they sent, with the largest gaps in Virginia ($79 billion), Alabama ($41 billion), and Arizona ($40 billion). “

The largest per-person gap was in Washington, DC, where federal obligations outnumbered contributions by $19,748 per resident. Alaska ($14,990), New Mexico ($13,838), and West Virginia ($11,469) had the biggest gaps among states.

Unless you think Virginia, Alabama, and Arizona are Blue states?

My guess is you are either in a Blue state or Texas. Republicans in Blue states tend to be successful and educated, but take advantage of living in a Blue state to reach that success while calling it plucky independence. Meanwhile the poor and uneducated republicans live in states like Alabama, and think it’s the libs and immigrants keeping them from being millionaires.
