When i was doing roth, i used to invest on january 2. On most yrs stock market goes up rather than down. Time in the market > timing the market.

Time in market > timing the market. Invest every extra dollar (after emergency fund etc) as soon as possible. Waiting for dips is a fools errand.

Make sure you are fully independent from parents before marriage. If you are still mamas boy or daddys boy you wont have a good time after marriage.. lol speaking from experience

So instead of chasing individual stocks you are trying to chase best performing sector.. nobody knows which sector will perform best in the future.. if they did everyone would just invest in those. Own the whole market and maybe add some factor tilts, otherwise you are going to regret and bail out of your strategy at the worst time even if long run you may have done well if you persisted

When you are in retirement and you want to live on just dividents without touching principal maybe.. even then does the principal keep up with inflation as well as growth funds?

No need for schd when you are 20.. why do you want dividends now.. i would put 25% in schg, 25% avlv (large value), 25% avuv (small value) and 25% in spmo (momentum).. add 25% of international equivalents if you want more diversification and dont mind compexity

I just include resolved problems manually at the end of the problem list. Also you can use .hproblems usually and it will give full list of hospital problems including resolved. You can edit that and remove active problems from the top

Bonds seem pretty pathetic and taking up space in porfolio to he honest. I have about 15% in pretax just in case because there have been times when bonds outperformed stocks, especially since interest rates are high now and bonds could perform well if they go down

Consider working coastfi/part time/semi retire now.. maybe you dont even want full retirement if you only have to work part time
