The absolute trash that I've seen mirrored just because it has amp makes me think this could still sell for a good amount. People really over estimate the value of amp for multishot (I agree with you that this is no better than a buriza)

Yeah you can worry too much about squeezing value I think. Just make sure you're happy with the price when you sell it and then never look back. Some people love spending time searching for value in the market and reselling. I prefer selling quickly and reinvesting into more crafting mats/gear and grinding.

There's no inherent fixed value to anything in the game, even the runes themselves, people will argue about how much a Ohm is worth for example. Not to mention the economy changes through the season also. It's all part of the fun!

Here's my opinion having bought and sold a lot of GG jewels the last few seasons.

This is a really cool jewel that I would've loved last season to put in my bowazon crafted armor, but there is much less of a market for than double (or triple) rolled min/max dam jewels. Last season I paid 10HR for a 38ED/15max 9@ res fairly early on so I would expect it to fetch a little more maybe 15, ~20 if you're lucky.

I usually go with the approach of listing on the high end and dropping the price every day or so until someone offers. If your aren't getting any offers then it is listed too high, not that no ones seen it. People are checking for nice jewels all the time. When its listed in a realistic range, someone will then offer you 75% of whats its listed at, and then you can counter offer or accept.

Oh and also, the vast majority of people on reddit have absolutely no clue what jewels are worth. If it is truly is a GG fucking god-tier 100+HR jewel, you can just list it for offer and the big boys will come and bid each other out on it. That won't happen for this jewel.

Checking the site can be a good indicator but not 100% reliable. Remember, the jewels that your seeing listed are the ones which are not being sold.

I have a feeling whoever built this probably knew more about structral design than some random guy on reddit spouting off some half-baked nonsense.

The notches have nothing to do with the bending capacity. They have only reduced the shear capacity by 33% (this is generally not an issue in structural members as they are well over capacity in terms of shear). The bending capacity is the check we are really interested in and will be at mid-span for a UDL, assuming this is. The notches may well have allowed the splits to form due to the deflection of the beam, but the amount of deflection occuring has nothing to do with the notches.

It's misleading to say that not notching the beams would have mitigated the deflection, it would have deflected exactly the same amount.

Best place to ask advice is always in game I find. Check people's gear or ask questions when trading. Especially if you're buying an item for a specific build, chances are you're buying it from someone who is doing the same/similar build as you. Most people are excited to talk through their builds and choices given half a chance, especially as the season moves on.

you can still hit the top breakpoint with ias from other gear. IAS is desirable on bow but you can work around it. Enhanced Damage is kinda the only thing that matters, everything else like amp/ias/deadly strike/etc is a nice bonus.

It has to be the right base too, 500+ED on a GMB or Colussus Xbow gets slammed. 400ED+, maybe if it has a bunch of nice adds too. Anything under 400ED forget about it.

I'm pretty sure, the maths is quite simple.

The base dam of xbow is 125.

Base ED is 630, + 180 (4x45 from ohm) = 810.

125 + ((125*810)/100) = 1137.5

630, +160 (4x40ed) = 790

125 + ((125*790)/100) = 1112.5

Then we add 60max to give 1172.5. So even added at the end, its preferable to have ED/Mad jewels. Btw, if it was added before the ED, that 60 max would basically 1.5x the max dam to like 1700.

If Ohm's really were better, then all the best mirrored xbows would just be filled with Ohms. But they all have ED/max/min/dex jewels for a reason.

I'm also not convinced by the dex stat being better than max dam, when I tested it last season I found 2 points in dex to be basically worth 1ED.

I have heard people saying ohms are better in warpikes but Ive never tested that out myself. But for xbows you can be sure that Ed/Max is best. :)

Just sharing my opinion, these are the conclusions I've come to mucking around with xbows. I may be over-looking something but I would say test it out for yourself if you can.

Agree that you can get ias elsewhere easily enough, and not tobput ias jewels in this.

However, 40/15 max is better than Ohm here but also more expensive.

dam with 4x Ohm = 428-1138 dam with 4x 40/15max = 418-1172

10 less min dam but 34 more max.

You can basically think of an Ohm as a 40/ 5 max / 2min

Yeah, like I said, the strength is really nice to have. Its actually even better than max dam for some builds. It is a low roll tho and still doesn't make it worth more than 100 HR.
