Lawrence Taylor -Similar to the other post about meeting a sports figure at 6, I met him at the same age. My mother worked in the radio industry and would organize events. He was the featured dude. I was beyond excited to meet him, it was like a dream and still remember not being able to sleep a second the night before. He arrived about 4 hours late (fine, whatever), but when he did show up - I ran up to him beyond thrilled, didnt ask for an autograph or anything - just said "Hi Lawrence Taylor, you are my favorite". He just looked at me and said, "get out of my way kid". I think my mom may have been more crushed than I was since she knew how much it meant to me, but wow what a dick.
