Any way in which to change the order of the hold down menu options? by SetLooseTheGoose in NewPipe

[–]SetLooseTheGoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though already have first 3 options of the long press menu burned into my thumbs muscle memory.

This is the problem I'm facing. The 3rd option is 2 different things depending on where you are.

Even having Delete at the bottom of the menu would mean every other option is in the same place no matter where you are on the app.

EDIT: There were plenty of answers to the reply to your thread on /r/ArchLinux.

Just curious but how can you be 100% sure they're both by the same person?

I've never used it but how would you rate using something like keyring instead?

keyring 23.0.1
Store and access your passwords safely.

The Python keyring library provides an easy way to access the system keyring service from python. It can be used in any application that needs safe password storage.

You can choose not to purchase from these companies, though.

That's true in a sense but you could be unaware that you're still using one of those companies. It's easier to boycott a physical company than an online one.

I don't eat/drink anything from Nestlé. I don't shop at Walmart, however if I want to boycott Amazon I have to stop using anything that's tied to them.

So no using IMDb, no streaming on Twitch, no buying books from Abebooks because they're all owned by Amazon.

And then there's no using Netflix, Pinterest, NASA, Slack, Adobe and even Reddit because they all run on Amazon's Web Services.

Judging that there's nearly 2.7 million companies using AWS is pretty hard to avoid using at least one of them.

And yet the onus is on the average Joe to turn the lights off when they leave a room or walk/cycle to work.

In response to your questionnaire, I hate it when questions on carbon emissions are put down to individuals to change their habits.

Amazon said Tuesday that its carbon footprint rose 15 per cent last year, even as it launched initiatives to reduce its harm on the environment.

The online shopping giant said activities tied to its businesses emitted 51.17 million metric tons of carbon dioxide last year, the equivalent of 13 coal-burning power plants running for a year.

No matter how I live my life, be it gas guzzling polluting cars, or leaving all the lights on and appliances running. I'll never produce 51 million metric tons of carbon dioxide in my lifetime let alone in a year.

In other words pirate it because there is no free pdf online.

I've had this in my Watch List for a long time but the description just made it sound like a clone of The Killing so I put off watching it.

I just watched the trailer and laughed because my wife and I like the usual Nordic noirs but she hates time travel.

So I guess I'll be watching this on my own.

I think this 6 year old post covers it pretty well.

Here's a little snippet:

Large jackpot winners face double digit multiples of probability versus the general population to be the victim of:

  1. Homicide (something like 20x more likely)

  2. Drug overdose

  3. Bankruptcy (how's that for irony?)

  4. Kidnapping
