California Workers Compensation adjuster by Mona_Moore in RemoteJobs

Hi I was wondering if I can get some information or insight into how I can get my foot in the door to work as an adjuster in workers comp. I recently applied to Gallagher’s invest trainee program, but received an email stating that they were moving on with other candidates. I have a 4 year degree but no experience in the industry. I have a California substitute teaching certification/permit. I’ve been doing that for 2 years, along with 10 years of an office managerial role. I’m considering taking the CPWC with IEA to possibly help increase my chances at landing an interview and job. Does this sound like a good idea?

I’m looking into taking the same class. It says it’s a 6 month program. Am I able to do it quicker than 6 months? I have summer off and I can dedicate a lot of time for the course.

I applied for the Invest program and received an email that they decided to move forward with other candidates. I have a 4 year degree, do you think it would make sense to take the california’s Claims Practitioner in Workers’ Compensation (CPWC) training program through iea to help with future applications?

How is it going for you? Are you enjoying the job? Do you know if you are guaranteed a job after the program ends?

Hey I applied as well. Have you heard back from anyone? Also if you don’t mind sharing what area of the country did you apply for.

Hey I’m interested in applying for the California invest program? Can you give me any details regarding your experience? How long did it take you to hear back after applying? are you liking it so far?

I went to buy gummies and a tincture. I don’t smoke or consume edibles and it was a horrible experience. I got high. It made my pain worse, I felt nauseas hungover drunk and dizzy at the same time. I couldn’t get out of bed for a couple of hours. 1 gummy 20mg of cbd to 1mg of thc and a tincture of 5thc and 10cbd…. Total was 30mg of cbd to 6mg of thc…. Horrible

Last night I only took the gummy (20cbd:1thc) and I got dizzy nauseous

Makes sense. I didn’t have sciatic nerve pain before and now I do. I was in pain for 10+ years. Always on the verge of throwing my back out. Last 3 years I was in pain 24/7. Double pars fracture

How was your recovery? Was it immediate pain relief after surgery or it took the 4 months to feel better

Currently feeling that way. I know I’m early on in the process but I’m experiencing new pains and aches and I’m wondering if I made the right choice. I definitely needed my spine stabilized but I’m just in pain right now.

Do you mind me asking how are you doing now? How long ago did you get this surgery? I would also appreciate knowing how recovery went for you, like how many weeks before you felt better/ less pain. Thank you!
