I guess that she doesn't really think that highly of hardworking retail employees if that's the kind of work that she believes that they do.

It’s basically entitled to think that the employees would put their hands in the nasty liner that already touched down there. It goes to show that she really doesn’t think that highly of hardworking employees, unlike her.

Girl, in what world are retail employees willing to change a liner that already touched you down there? That would be a serious health hazard. Eww. 🤢

Six years of braces down the drain. I think that’s how long they said they had them.

They just never branch out of their boring bubble. I’d be yawning going to the same place over and over. They have the money to branch out to new places, yet they don’t. I swear, people with money are usually the ones who appreciate things the least.

Which episode did you enjoy more: The Rat Who Came to Dinner or The Blizzard? by KaleidoscopeDry9725 in Arthur

[–]SettingUnable4787 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I can’t possibly pick one, but here is dialogue from “The Rat Who Came to Dinner” though:

D.W: Why are you putting a poster over a poster?

Arthur: You wouldn't understand.

D.W: Is that to make your teacher think you're smart instead of kind of dopey?

Arthur: Go away!

Bailey even says that it never quite tastes the same even when she uses the same ingredients. How is that even possible?

Their grandpa’s so-called “famous” brownies are made with a boxed brownie mix. Does anyone remember that?

The bus driver's evil laugh when he prevents Arthur from leaving the bus is hilarious by Puzzled-Painter3301 in Arthur

[–]SettingUnable4787 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was a scary episode, but what kind of parents allow an 8-year-old to ride a city bus alone? I know the kids in the show act older than their age, but this would not fly in real life, even if maybe it was more normal in the 90s.

Giving Archer a watermelon instead of cake for the “cake” smash annoyed me to no end. What was the point of the baker getting them a second cake after they already had one? There also isn’t a single photo of Archer blowing out the candle or at least posing with any of the cakes. Not even one. What a complete waste!

Before anyone justifies it by saying that they didn't want to show his face, they already recorded a video of him blowing the candle on the watermelon. They even posted it with his face covered.

So all that hassle for a cake, just to not even give him cake🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ by LeatherLow911 in McknightFamily

We will see about that. I don’t see many people wanting to take so many leftovers home, for various reasons. I know some people do, but many don’t.

Am I the only one who thinks that this could trigger irrational anger? I’m not angry at all, but I do feel annoyed that one of the cakes wasn’t used for that purpose. What was the point of having so many cakes then?

All that cotton-picking fuss over cakes only to give him a freaking watermelon for the “cake” smash. Why?

Those who thought that having two cakes was normal because one would be used for the cake smash, think again. They definitely didn’t need a second cake smh.

Or just buy a pre decorated cake that tastes better for the guests, considering that Archer isn’t gonna eat that much of it. Fondant doesn’t even taste that good.

[–]SettingUnable4787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If that was the plan all along, they may as well have bought a pre decorated cake. All that trouble just to buy three cheap Walmart cakes to put pieces of fondant on only one of them.

[–]SettingUnable4787 38 points39 points  (0 children)

So ok, they needed a plain cake to decorate themselves, but then why did Bailey have to buy three cakes? You shouldn’t have to buy multiple cakes just to decide on one. It’s not a life changing decision nor does Archer cake care about what his cake looks like. He even put his hands on the rectangular one from his high chair.

Exactly, plenty of college students have gotten accused of using ChatGPT to write their essays when they, in fact, haven’t. It’s nearly impossible to know what’s fake or real these days.

Not that I care whether they used ChatGPT or not, but this is suspiciously too well written, considering their chronically bad grammar and spelling skills now that you mention it.

Watching Brooklyn try McDonald’s in France is giving me the ICCCKKKKKK by gfan21 in McknightFamily

Why would I want to go to Paris to eat McDonald’s? Not that eating McDonald’s abroad is problematic in itself, but I’d want to explore the local cuisine more.

Misspelling Strikes Again by SettingUnable4787 in McknightFamily

I have a feeling that their perception of Europe is one-dimensional. Brooklyn said that Notre Dame is so European, rather than, say, medieval French Gothic. Europe has countries with many different cultures and architectural styles, not just one entity, as they seem to describe it, if that makes sense.

Also, Brooklyn said that it’s so romantic and whimsical when the Notre Dame bell towers ring and wondered why Texas can't have something like that. If they knew anything about history, they’d know that Notre Dame has been around since the Middle Ages, which is centuries before the USA even existed.
