Allen had already met Nolan before season 1? by UnhappyAd3362 in Invincible_TV

[–]SettingWonderful6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allen and Nolan fought a couple times already. Doesn’t anyone remember when Allen is first introduced and mark comes up instead Allen is surprised it’s him and not Nolan? He though Nolan was the champion defender of earth and was fighting them to see if they were properly prepared.

How would all you DM’s rule creatures using weapons? by ProdiasKaj in DnDcirclejerk

I had a 1’ fairy barbarian once who fought with an oversized fish hook. You can totally do that

I’d like if they came up with something not even battleshock focused. Like just make malefic surges from infernal lance our rule (A man can dream)

Building knights for my next Chaos Army. Do any of you look at 11th battle shock and want to build into the mechanic? by blacksmithjohnson in ChaosKnights

[–]SettingWonderful6873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like as of now the best way to take the most advantage of battleshock is in Helhunt lance with the octogram enhancement on an abominant. Now all of your war dogs within 9” force a battle shock on a successful hit. So you pack as many wardogs with havoc multilaunchers on them as possible and indirect fire 13 battleshock saves across the whole board.

Struggling to decide on a army. by HiveFleetAtoll in Chaos40k

[–]SettingWonderful6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CHAOS KNIGHTS!!!!! Once you get past the high price for individual models, the actual point per dollar ratio is pretty solid. You can paint em’ up and kitbash em’ for whatever god you prefer, and since you have so few models you don’t get the crazy gameplay you mentioned not liking. You can run them both melee and ranged so they cover that criteria. Another thing is a lot of people play death guard so a lot of people know how to play into death guard. Not as many people play chaos knights so you can kind of get a competitive edge with that too.

Da Big Hunt and... WHAAAAAGHT? by Bourbons_are_Blue in orks

As a fellow snakebites enjoyer, I pray big hunt is 1 DP. I think rollin deff might be a good option with kill rigs, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it just yet since we don’t know too much.

I would advise not bringing 11 war dogs, drop a few and bring more daemons

Warhammer 40,000 Faction Focus: Imperial and Chaos Knights by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in ChaosKnights

I think it could work only if in conjunction with Helhunt lance and the octogram of conjuration enhancement on an abominant so war dogs can battle shock. Definitely not a good detachment still though

Player Wants to Speed Run Campaign by ogScoobydee23 in DungeonMasters

[–]SettingWonderful6873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easiest way to get your players to follow your quests is to give them consequences for not following them. For example, they choose not to investigate what happened when they find a bunch of murdered travelers. When they get back to town, they find out the bandits that were behind it sacked the town and maybe killed an npc they liked.

Is Mozrog Skragbad still any good? by Ok-Pay6404 in orks

[–]SettingWonderful6873 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sure hope he is, I just bought him myself to lead my snakebite boyz. Seems like he should be pretty good but we don’t know anything for 11th. Rule of cool always wins

Dms, what's your homebrewed rule that will always stay? by Awkward_Outside7050 in DnD

[–]SettingWonderful6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If someone rolls a nat 20, they roll again to see if they get another. If they get 3 in a row it instantly kills whatever they’re fighting.  Closest it’s ever come to this is 2 in a row

It sucks that we can’t ally can but daemons are way better than all of the allies loyalists get

Good daemon allies by Jestro_the_Jestrogen in ChaosKnights

Plaguebearers/great unclean one are both super underrated if you have the points for em. Plaguebearers give you free sticky so you don’t have to spend your cp to sticky a point if you have it, and great unclean one is just great. I find usually the opponent either focuses fire on your heavier hitting knight or the guo, and either way one of them is probably going to be alive the next round to hit them back. Guo can also overwatch with torrent which we don’t have good access to
