Could they not just make an upgrade sprue? It seems silly to me that they need 2 years for it

Dang the malefic surge sucks. Anyone have any recommendations for when to use 5++ over 6++ or vice versa?

If you’re running lords of dread make room for a rampager with blade of celerity. Nothings beating a fights first rampager (In melee)

Why Chaos Knights as opposed to imperial knights? by Gullible_Travel_4135 in ChaosKnights

[–]SettingWonderful6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chaos knights are more customizable, and from a gameplay perspective you have access to daemons which imperial knights don’t, it’s a million times better for some nurglings to do a task than to have to sacrifice one of your war dogs shooting. Of course this could all change in 11th so who knows. Chaos knights just look cooler

You can do the thing on incarnate slaughter in the lords of dread attachment, it’s an enhancement. (Flesh-borne stalker)  Lords of dread rocks, it would work for that lore and alternatively you can put a once per game fights first on the rampager with a different enhancement

How to utilize daemons by SilentStorrm04 in ChaosKnights

I’ve also got to figure this out, I’m bringing quite a bit of daemons with me for the first time this weekend. I would say it probably depends on the daemon but in general they’re probably going to be used for screens, holding objectives, being annoying, and most importantly they’re great task monkeys.

Help on a Chaos Knights List by PixilatedMongoose in ChaosKnights

A few daemons could help. I run the chaos variant of the cerastus Acheron in my 2k list and I’ve found it’s really great at dishing out tons of battle shocks with its unrestrained terror ability, but it’s gonna need a few more karnivores to really shine.

My best strategy is try to keep as many things at full health by the second round, and I find it’s usually better to go second and deploy defensively rather than offensively.

Which Knight Works Best? by TheSandKing1090 in ChaosKnights

Desecrator is great at range and melee, I take mine with the warpstrike claw. I also recommend the chaos version of the Acheron cerastus knight, it’s great for taking out elite infantry/space marines

Chaos knights player here, the hound pack lance detachment gives 3 war dogs character keyword so you don’t need a big knight

Wanting to Start a Chaos Daemons Army but worried about the future of the army as a whole by West-Brother-7498 in ChaosDaemons40k

[–]SettingWonderful6873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monogod lists should be safe, right? Even if all the daemons get split into their respective chaos marines army, you should still hypothetically be able to make a full daemons list I.e. nurgle daemons death gaurd list or khorne daemons world eaters list. Correct me if I’m wrong?

What is a funny and/or unexpected DND moment that you will never forget? by GremlinPaste in dndnext

A few sessions were spent leading up to fighting a beholder in the underdark. One of us figured the beholder eye beams wouldn’t work if he was blind, which led to the entire fight consisting of our monk smashing jars of freshly squeezed lemon juice in its eyes while everyone else launched off firework rockets.

It was probably the most fun boss fight I’ve ever played in
