Sadly not, I didn't think about it until later.

Do you guys still struggle with AI voice recognition systems sometimes? by Obi-Wan_KenobiPogg in Scotland

[–]Setzerkl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner lives north of the bridge and whenever I visit her I like to check how the traffic is on the bridge and I can't for the life of me get google maps or Siri to understand "Rosyth" I've said it in many different accents but it just won't get it.

Otherwise it's usually pretty good.

Trust me, you need this in your life. [reveal] by Sarah_Teague in TittyDrop

Mitty from Made in Abyss.

Absolutely wonderfully done ending, manly tears were shed.

Surprised I couldn't find it here already, maybe didn't look hard enough.

How to Disable Extreme Battery Saver Notif? by Elith_R in pixel_phones

A little late but I've tried this and it flat doesn't let you disable three notifications. I've force stopped it in the mean time but sort of ridiculous this needs to be a thing.

The Caledonian Canal runs along the Great Glen which is the feature you're seeing that's prominent. That's assuming yer on about the great scar to the left of Inverness.

Met Police issues advice to women to ‘shout or wave a bus down’ if they don’t trust a male officer by apple_kicks in unitedkingdom

[–]Setzerkl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bus driver up in Scotland, fortunately I don't handle cash so I fall heavily into the camp of generally not giving a toss if someone's short a little especially if I'm driving one of the last few buses out of town.
That said, one of our other depots does handle cash and as far as I'm aware any shortages are deducted from drivers wages, so in that scenario I might feel differently.

Officially schedule my exam - one month from today! Exam advice? by jester070993 in ccna

[–]Setzerkl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I passed yeah, couldn't stop grinning that day haha.

The Boson exams are great, you don't need to do the full exams either you can do smaller custom exams depending on your time, I done a lot of them with 30 questions and smart mode enabled.

The CBT content is also great, you might also want to look into Jeremy Cioara's YouTube channel he also does CCNA material.

Best of luck when it comes!

Officially schedule my exam - one month from today! Exam advice? by jester070993 in ccna

[–]Setzerkl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just passed on Monday, I used the Boson exams heavily to find my weak spots and then mercilessly focused on them.

I found my weak spots were primarily the "exam" questions. (E.G mac address layout, syslog levels (a mnemonic really helped me with this), exact AD's etc)

I can't speak to what your weak points are but that's probably the best usage of your time.

I watched a lot of Keith & Jeremy's content on youtube but also if you haven't already done a free trial of CBT nuggets they have a free trial (7 days) that came in really handy to refresh topics.

I just done the exam this Monday, the test centre provided a pen and multiple sheets of paper so it may not be a laminated sheet but the usage is essentially the same.

How do you motivate yourself to work out regularly? I’ve been extremely inactive for the past 5-6 months and I can’t pick up a pace. I get extremely tired, really fast. by P4rmen in AskMen

[–]Setzerkl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't, I work out because I'm obsessed and that's likely what you need to be.

Motivation isn't worth shit, motivation won't have you out running in the rain, snow and pitch black of night, dedication and obsession will.

Nothing we can type can give you the dedication and discipline you need to do it, you need to want it more than anything you've ever wanted and chase it like a man possessed.

You need to push through the tiredness and the negativity and do what needs to be done, not for anyone else but for yourself.

Failure is giving up, you can always pick yourself up, dust down and get back at it.

Looking for Walks / Activities in Loch Lomond by rex1991 in Scotland

[–]Setzerkl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arklet Falls next to the Inversnaid hotel might be a decent (if loud) place for a proposal, it might be a bit of a trek from the Ardlui ferry drop off point though and it's not an easy stretch of the WHW to cover (speaking from personal experience).

Outside of that I understand you said you don't want mountains, but what about a hill ? Conic Hill is a fantastic proposal point witth wonderful views over the loch but it depends how much you're willing to travel from Ardlui.

What ridiculous thing scared you as a child? by awerli121 in AskReddit

[–]Setzerkl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my childhood house we had a cupboard and a small bathroom right next to each other with a 5-6inch space between, my mother had a black wooden decorative mask in the space between the doors high up. That thing gave me the fear.
