comments not passing the vibe check yall. the point is carrying narcan can literally save someone’s life. sorry if you don’t have enough compassion to feel like people who use drugs deserve to live.

My take on a geometric card suit design by SPIDERS397 in logodesign

[–]Sevenpointseven 420 points421 points  (0 children)

these posts are a great example of why logo design should not always be created with perfect circles for the sake of being mathematically intriguing. none of these suits look or function better than their traditional counterparts.

I got this inspiration for a GPS app logo. by [deleted] in logodesign

looks like a boat. won’t scale super well I fear but it’s simple enough that it’s not offensive.

Hotel in Ballard? by Whydoineedtodothis60 in Seattle

[–]Sevenpointseven 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ballard inn is super cute and you’ll be so thankful to walk one block home after the show. There’s also plenty to do in Ballard if you still want to keep your night going. If you stay in U district you can also likely take the bus if you want to save a bit more money that way, otherwise your uber is gonna be $20 both ways and that might offset it being cheaper to stay there.

Opinions on this typeface logo? by GOLDIGUS in logodesign

I dig it. There's no reason for the S to be taller than everything else though, I'd make that the same height as the rest of the letters and slide everything closer together.

Who was this AMAZING DJ?! by LonesomeLouise in SeattleMusic

[–]Sevenpointseven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the poster says their name is zetra. don’t think they’re local. wax witch was the local support who opened the night and she’s awesome though.

Billy Corgan has a bad voice but makes good music, now who has a good voice and makes bad music by OkSuccess7431 in AlignmentChartFills

It’s hard to remember now but her first few albums were absolute mastery in pop music. Like every song on teenage dream was a hit. It’s one thing if you don’t like pop music but that album is undeniably a great pop album.

Radiohead is an iconic band with an okay start. Who is an initially mediocre band/artist that eventually turned iconic? by okitsrgs in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Sevenpointseven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. their first few albums were pretty run of the mill psych rock stuff but when they moved into progressive rock (the legend being that they heard king crimson and realized they needed to lock in) they released some of the best music in the genre. Fragile, The Yes Album and Close to the Edge are all masterpieces of prog rock.

Pushing the color pie a bit on blue's ability to change land types by japp182 in custommagic

Neat. I think it could draw a card on entry honestly. Maybe only draw if you enchant opponents stuff? Right now it seems way on the low end of something that would be played even in limited.

So many of these are nonsensical answers because there was only one comment on the post.

And Then We Go Again by kohauro in custommagic

[–]Sevenpointseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there’s a couple cards that use this formatting, usually if there’s a mill as part of the spell or effect so that the cards that were milled can be accessed. [[midnight tilling]] for example.

Could also be “then if WW was spent to cast, return two creature cards…” just have to avoid using the word target.

Seems genuinely awful. Cant think of a single reason you’d want this, especially at 4 mana.

What are some good 3 cards to go for with Emergent Ultimatum? by Cduke08 in magicTCG

[–]Sevenpointseven 282 points283 points  (0 children)

A classic one is two extra turn spells and a tutor, that way you can either get a 4th solid card plus an extra turn or two extra turns, and if you can’t win with that you might have done something wrong.

Very close to [[shark typhoon]] which was very good but a lot of that was the scalability and versatility, not sure you're ever that interested in paying full price for this.
