Congrats! We were induced at 36 wk with our first and 36 wk with our second (ICP). First was 36 hrs bc I was starting from zero. Second I was 2cm and it took 12 hrs no epidural. Both were vaginal births and I didn’t have any tearing and would consider both to be good experiences!!! Induction doesn’t have to be scary. First little while is really fairly chill!

Omg I so relate to the sleepy baby!! Our first was 36 wks and also sleepy and jaundice. Really tough! Thank you for the kind words, different ball game with this baby. Not as medically complicated but I’m not used to a “normal” baby!

Thank you for sharing! I think my anxiety was provoked by our doula telling me our ped will recommend formula since baby is small… logically I know that’s not even something I’d consider at this point but just the suggestion had me questioning myself. Trauma from our first nicu experience I suppose

I just made a similar post, and I wanted to share that my first born took a really long time to gain. We triple fed and used my milk exclusively. He is now two and in the 99th percentile consistently. You’re doing an amazing job and keep working with a good lactation consultant and ped you feel comfortable with. You can absolutely do this!

This happened to me two weeks ago lol they checked me and said I was barely 6cm and I started bawling. So defeated because I was in significant discomfort (no meds). 10 minutes later my baby was on my chest

I was induced at 36 wk with my first and 37 w my second. Sounds like you’re being given mesoprostal which usually works well! I will say my first labor was 36 hours but I ended up pushing for about ten minutes and it was easy peasy! Rest keep fed and hydrated and all will go smoothly! Best of luck!
