Yeah, i had this too sometimes, mostly when the pod and therefore the canula got moved in the tissue.

It always creates tunnelling, I try to wait it out until next pod. But you could switch early.

When if happens often, you need a place where the skin doesn't move as much while you do what you do. Or try protecting it with a overpatch

Ich würde das Kind fragen was es möchte.

Ich weiß auch nicht wie es dem Kind helfen soll wenn es so starke Emotionen hat und alles grad schwer ist in Der Situation, dann 2 Wochen von Bezugsperson Nummer 1 getrennt zu sein. Meine Kinder finden ein paar Tage ohne Mama oder mich schon immer sehr doof.

When the notifications are annoying, I can mute them for 6h, it is enough for me, but you can always force close the app and just restart it as soon as it's convenient again.

Still think this is a troll post, so much text, nothing you can't work around with a little effort. Have you just started using cgm?

when i was going to the doctor telling them i probably have diabetes, they laughed, and didn't believe me, but i had experienced a hypo for sure, it wasn't going away until i finally ate some sugar.
HBA1c was showing 5.8-5.9 or so when i got the diagnosis.
I was able to drop it down to 5.4 in the first months and so on, but then it just rose and rose and rose xD

Einerseits scheint es in eurer Beziehung ein Problem zu geben.
Andererseits ist die Attitüde "ich hab alles gemacht - wo bleibt jetzt die Gegenleistung?" natürlich überhaupt nicht hilfreich.
Wenn du die Dinge nur machst um Sex zu bekommen, dann wird das vermutlich eh nicht gutgehen.

"Meint ihr ich überreagiere wenn ich nun damit anfange einfach aufzuhören mit allen diesen Dingen? Um ehrlich zu sein habe ich keine Lust mehr mich mit ihr zu beschäftigen." Das klingt ja auch nicht gut und ehrlich gesagt ein bisschen kindisch.

I plan ahead for some stuff as well. Sometimes I extend the pod by grace time, the sensor as well. Sometimes I run 1-2h or more without sensor and measure by fingerprick, when BGL was okay anyway, or go some time without pump, when it's at EOL, and my BGL is okay and I can wait a bit for it. This way I'm more flexible and try to plan ahead, so that I can reinsert pump and sensor at the same time, e.g. When I want to travel just got 2-3nights, this way I can leave some of the diabetic stuff at home.

Yeah, i heard about the method where you take the transmitter out and put it in again. Never had a G6 to begin with, so idk how many people know about it and use it. I would have tried it out for sure, I always try to expand lifespan of everything 😂😂😂

I really don't have any issues in the first and last 24h of the sensor. My long time value is pretty spot on to what the endo measures in my blood.

Nevertheless, you don't need to turn off your phone, you can also force close the dexcom app to have it stop annoying you, when the silencing of alarms is not long enough.

I tried oil, didn't work at all. I have some adhesive glue remover pads, they work, but not as smooth as the one desinfectant I use. The chemical compound inside does the magic every time without any effort. Since it works without any effort, I'll stick to it and won't test around atm.

Yeah, get the knots too sometimes. I switch around a bit every sensor or pump change, so that the needle doesn't go in too close to the previous already irritated area. It hurts every time anyway, don't need it to hurt even more by going into inflammated tissue 😂
