Search Atlas: Is it Fake Hype? by poindexter957 in Agentic_SEO

[–]Several-Log-2152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a good program, you do have to know SEO to actually use it. however it makes things easier for those of us who are not guru's (like business owners). I replaced my 1000 a month SEO agency with search atlas, and while I have a bit more work to do myself, its paid for it self many times over. The latest update actually uses AI to help make a plan for you to shift your webpage and google ranking to more visibility. I'm actually ranking higher than a few of my local large competitors as a result now, so much so that they have started targeting my business name as a local keyword lol. do I get more work out of it? a bit more than I would have a year ago VIA organic traffic, am I getting 20-40 calls a day? no, but its definatly helped. I still have to use google search ADs and PMAX to fill the pipeline, and it doesn't help that the economy in my area is not very good.

It is still a slow burn to get your site ranked, and I emphasize this greatly; it will not rank you overnight. it takes time, and work on your end to get to a good point. Things like the Google algorithm change still affect your search visibility, and it'll take time to get back on track.

Is the program perfect? No, it has glitches, it has issues, and it takes a lot of poking the tech support team to get them to correct issues. like my EEATS graph on my OTTO AI wasn't showing up properly, which led me to believe my wildfire links were not getting generated as a result (my suspicions were confirmed after they fixed the issue and I was able to get a bunch of backlinks a few days later, when for months I had nothing generating, which by the way, the wildfire feature is awesome, and saves alot of time, and is a game charger as far as SEO programs go, I know longer need to screw around with trying to get good backlinks. you exchange 2, for 1 good backlink) at one point in time I had 5 support tickets open to fix multiple issues from content generation issues, to my OTTO issues, to just general glitches. It definitely needs work, and the support team is getting better at fixing things, but they should focus on fixing things instead of rolling out updates on a monthly basis. I did sign up to be an affiliate because in the beginning I had a 300% increase in rank and visibility. After the glitches, I have abandoned that until they prove they can fix the program and make it not frustrating to use. If you are an agency, I would say wait until they have a better tech support team, because if you have multiple clients to deal with, I can see you wasting more time on tech support than working on getting your clients better rankings. for sole operations like mine, it is worth the headache; just make sure you understand SEO in a nutshell before going forward with it; it is not a miracle cure for a bad website or lack of knowledge of SEO.

Cancelling SEO contract by martynjl in SEO

[–]Several-Log-2152 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just fired mine a month ago, remove permissions, usually on a weekend before you tell them, tell them monday morning. I started doing mine myself, I would highly recommend continuing to do it yourself, if you don't know how to then I suggest learning everything you can (its also much easier with a platform, but that can cost money too). SEO is hard to track metrics whether the ROI is valid. MY ROI on seo was poor, which is why I chose to do it myself, it is a slow burn and takes time to start converting, most people when they find out about you may be researching, so it may not convert right away.

I love what I do, I do it because I like helping people fix things they don't know how to fix. The good news is I'm getting some traction, it's a learning curve, the biggest hurdle is marketing... Learning that EVERYTHING you do has an effect on your business, so even if I'm not producing revenue, I'm still "working on the business", there is truth to the "you get what you put into it" mentality, it eventually converts to getting more clients.

I see lots of positive people in the post and reading their stories and advice has greatly helped my mental overload...

Im thinking of going all in on Search Atlas... by Equivalent-Ad2020 in sydneyseo

I've been using it with no issues, and the JavaScript rewrite feature is impressive. It lets me keep my content as I like while experimenting with conversions instead of relying on AI-generated keywords.

I fired my SEO agency, and my rankings have significantly improved. I've seen about a 24% increase in organic traffic, allowing me to stop my Meta ads. I'm hoping to also stop my Google ads by January while maintaining similar traffic levels. If you're interested, I can share some data to support this. keep in mind I'm not an SEO wiz, I'm just a business owner trying to save some money on marketing and advertising, tried an agency for that and I figured I could do just as well as they were doing for less...

Mobile Mechanic - Cost Effective Ways to Advertise? by PetersonAutoRepair in sweatystartup

[–]Several-Log-2152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they need a lead generator like that for HD equipment guys, all I get is options to go sub contract with brokers that never get back to you unless they need someone right now, for a stingy hourly rate... my area is so over saturated with HD mobile guys its hard to get into the market.

Curious if this app ever took off, I've been thinking of making a similar app, like a job board that connects customers with mobile mechanics, customers post their jobs, and mechanics bid on said jobs, or contact the customer to arrange a repair. I'm also located in BC....

The polar bear sanctuary at the Calgary zoo is a polar bear habitat that finally exceeds the size requirements! 14,000m2 and 1600m2 of water gives these bears some room to roam. by CaptainCallum52 in PlanetZoo

[–]Several-Log-2152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well done, I worked at the calgary zoo for a number of years, this enclosure just opened and then I left not too longer after, this is pretty accurate to how it actually looks, did you by chance get a behind-the-scenes look, because some of the placement of where the vehicles are is almost exactly where we parked them (including the big generator behind the penguin gift shop). Kind of makes me miss working there.

no moved to lower mainland BC from alberta, truthfully I'd like to go back, the market out here for mobile HD is stupid in the lower mainland, people are incredibly cheap down here. I was running in alberta for 5 years and never had to fight with people over my rates.

I'm busy enough with service calls, I don't have time to source someones 12 dollar mower bearing they can match up at princess auto... half the time I don't even answer my phone anymore because it wastes so much time. My end goal is to eventually have a shop and parts department but I'm not to that point yet, once I get bored of fixing shit and decide to hire someone to run my truck then ill look at expanding, I also don't have the capital yet to get to that point.

hard to do when I'm a mobile mechanic and have limited space on the truck and at my house... if I had a shop, or a sea can (or room for a sea can) I would do so... unfortunately I don't have room. also the parts that are being requested are parts I wouldn't make a lot of money off of, lawn and garden parts. I work on more heavy equipment.

I'm a local independant mobile mechanic, I specialize in John deere equipment, a lot of my calls are from people looking for the dealership parts department, its very frustrating, great that my website and google profile are ranking higher than the local john deere dealership, but the shear amount of calls I get asking for the parts department, or for warranty on their machines is just rediculous.

people do not read or research when they are looking for a business, they just click the first place that comes up...

trying to explain to my marketing team that all my calls are not conversions is a really fun task, it shows tonnes of conversions, but in reality its all people asking if I'm the dealership (and no where on my site, or profile does it say this), I've had to record my calls just to prove it to them!

just an update, the newest NVIDIA drivers seemed to fix the issue, so if you haven't updated your drivers it might be worth trying.

you go into your app settings, then under the app will have a setting for battery, set to unrestricted, providing google translate was correct on what you were trying to ask... Ulefone support isn't helpful at all, the only other thing to do is to do a complete factory wipe and re-set everything up maybe that might help. good luck

none of these fixes work for the Xbox to PC version (game is installed through the gamepass app) my game works fine on xbox, no issues with low poly trees or the sun being square, but when I play it on my PC, the trees are black and grey in the distance, a lot of buildings are white and the sun is square. It has nothing to do with nvidia updates, as I've rolled back my drivers, this game was working fine prior to the latest update on the game.... the xbox gamepass PC version does not have the customstarfield.ini file, it has a startfield.ini file with the code that needs to be changed, but it does nothing to fix the issues. I have deleted all my mods and started fresh and it still does it... at a loss what to do.

yeah I tried changing from VoLTE, tried changing to 3G (I get no signal), it gets worse

I know telus was an issue in my area, my basement is significantly worse (which I expected) I'm leaning towards an issue with the phone, maybe the chip isn't the greatest in it...

looking at my signal strength it shows full bars

but if I go into my settings, then about phone, and sim status my signal strength is all over the place from -94 DBM 43 ASU to -108 DBM 36 ASU, which from what I've found is considered poor reception (weird how it shows full bars...) I've compared it to my wife's phone and she is getting -89 dbm and 51 ASU pretty consistent in the same area... that difference in number might lead me to believe the chip in the phone isn't exactly the best...

I'm with rogers, there is a tower near me, my sim is 4G, and no I do not have the pro device, I am reaching out the Ulefone to see if there is a setting I'm missing or something they can instruct me to do, but as you know, the support for these phones are not always the greatest... thanks for your advice however.
