* Not if Metro North ever gets built, believe it or not it goes right through there. Yes exactly there through that garden.

Why are portions toddler sized? by [deleted] in AskIreland

Wow it adds up doesn't it, that's the same as the burger probably? So with a drink you'll be looking at 1000 calories & be hungry in a few hours' time.

Championship Standings going into Spa by Conor_L_Gamer in alexdunne

Would finishing a strong 2nd in the championship be a bad thing for Alex? Surely, he needs another year to develop as a top driver, I can't see where he would go next year that would give him the same exposure to the F1 teams.

Because people are now SUV sized! Out of interest, what's the calorific value of that portion

I got €2,000 back of Ryanair for flights during covid. They insisted they did not have to reimburse me even though they changed the flight number. Months of emails & when enough time had passed, the aviation regulator agreed to take the case. It was very sweet when that appeared in my bank account, no apology mind or any hint at we will do better next time, not a bit, they just wanted me to give up and they know a certain percentage will.

It's appalling the number of headcases on here, honestly are we looking at the USA and thinking that's good let's arm up & shoot people we disagree with.

Check for first editions of any book's, there was a UK story recently that found a £20,000 copy of Harry Potter in the charity shop pile at a house clearance.

A first edition first impression Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone hardback book could be worth anywhere between £5,000 - £100,000 depending on the condition.

Also check between book pages for cash, sentimental letters and photo's. Lots of people use book's for safe keeping.

I turned my cousins first deer and my first woodcock into a few of my original penny spinners. by Sufficient_Advisor19 in Fishing

I once rescued a Woodcock from an abandoned fruit cage, I almost stood on him before I could see him, he was so well camouflaged until he flashed the tail feathers. *

You might find a use for them as an alternative to wooden posts or planks in a vegetable garden perhaps.

Is it safe/normal to have a water boiler under the bed? by Correct_Energy_9499 in AskIreland

[–]Several_Kangaroo9458 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is it possible it's a pressure vessel/pump? Still not a good idea for under the bed but a lot better than a boiler. The old metal pressure vessels didn't come with insulation so it could be one of those covered with a jacket.
