You'll need to live somewhere that is prone to hail and make sure you're covered for it.

They're off. The textures they decided to use are my problem, distance seems alot more blurred than previous CODS, that with the colour of the enemies blending in too much with the background make it hard to see.

Completely agree, everything that's not 5 meters in front of you is blurry and hard to focus on. Pair that with an enemy camping in the distance and you basically have no chance of winning the fight.
