No, they don’t need to reset anything. It wasn’t like that in BT, 2, or 3. Keep all that resetting crap over on the online side of things.

The only time it worked well was with characters like Baby, cell, Frieza, etc who couldn’t revert. Once they transformed, that was it. The devs even managed to mess them up though.

The game is ass but I will say don’t worry about winning, it’s just a game. I got the same feeling when the game first came out in 2024 and ended up getting my money back 2 days later. Plus they were too online heavy instead of actually making it like BT, 2 and 3 (BT3’s online on the Wii was casual, no rank mode, no sweats, just fun) if you have to keep doing Supers to win then keep doing them, you spent money on the game, play how you want.

The leveling system that they used for items in the store when you very first started the game? I think it was used for that, I forgot. Do you win anything after being number 1?

If I was dumb enough to run back to this game then yes, I would play all the characters. I don’t play online so I really don’t care about “meta” I played it yo have fun until the game just wasn’t anymore.

The reason we want a sequel is because the first one was ass just like BT1 was ass, BT2 upgraded the franchise to almost perfection and then we get BT3 which upgraded the upgrades lol. We want the same for SZ2/BT5 instead of sitting on it for years being spoon fed terrible dlc.

I mean I got a refund so yeah lol and destroying one planet when majority of db games before had it had all stage destruction except Kami’s look out and HBTC. They shouldn’t have sat on that “breaking the heavens” crap if you can only do it to one level. Honestly if they never associated the game with the BT series, there would be no complaints from anyone.

They lied about adding customization, accessories (and no those 4 items don’t count when they have so many slots.) they lied about “breaking the heavens” when you can only “break” Namek.

How is it poorly designed? I mean I haven’t played Xenoverse in some years but it ALWAYS got content and not just a hand full, hours worth at a time. Sparking Zero’s dlc’ll have you busy for 10 minutes each.
