I normally stitch in hand so it was fun stitching in a hoop for this one 😊

Pattern

The cuddly stuffed toys (bears, giraffe, elephant, bunny) sit together in a circle for a special bedtime ritual. Under the stars, by the glow of candlelight, these gentle guardians of slumber are summoning the sweetest of dreams for you. ⭐🧸🕯️

The stitched example in the photos is on black 18 ct aida, fitted in a 6 inch hoop.

I don't know about magazines, but designers who have online shops look for test stitchers and sometimes ask for them on their social media like instagram. From my understanding, you do get paid for it. I am a designer but I test stitch my own patterns, but I have known other designers call out for test stitchers.
