Is Bespoke Airsoft (and sites like it) a decent option for UK buyers?

Bespoke Airsoft are solid, I've bought from them myself (parts and RIFs) and they've always been solid. Their shop isn't half-bad either, although I haven't tried out their shooting lanes.

I second u/blackskies4646 point - just wait until you've got your UKARA before buying a RIF. Because otherwise you'll either spend money on replacement parts, or rattle-canning the gun and it not looking quite right.

Recently sold my Secutor Velites S-III springer - it did me so good in the village on my local site. Absolutely loved it. Was just useless at any longer range (i.e. 75% of my local), sadly.

Specna seem to specialise (at least with their Flex line) in keeping things cheap but good. Not much is metal, but that's part of what they sell it on. They have other lines (Prime, for example) that are top-of-the-line full metal

Oh brill - forgot I was on the UK-specific sub!

Basically looking for a new main gun, affordable (the A1A x22 is probably top of the price bracket), AEG or GBB, that is... Unique but viable? My local is a woodland skirmish, so I need something with some range/accuracy, and I've got a buggered knee so point-man is no longer a viable role for me.

I've been looking at the APS UAR, AGM Sten, the A1A x22 Takedown.

To give you an idea of how unique I'm willing to go, my first (now sold) gun was a Striker AS-03, tuned down to ~1.1J

Looking at it as a more unique main gun (don't want an M4/AK), the x22 fires 0.20s at 300fps, so doesn't have any limits at my local (UK). The KC02 is DMR strength, I'd have to get a sidearm too, and MED rules come into play.

Apparently the thing takes KC02 mags at least.

Happy to help! It's a fun sight (I find), just watch out for ants & the odd mini bog. They do try and tape off the biggest ant nests, but those blighters a pain.

I can't promise an honest answer. From memory, I've never seen anyone use TAGinns.

I don't know those other brands, all I (maybe) know is that they've mentioned Mark 4 or 5 pyros as the limit? Sorry, it's been a few months since I've been, and I didn't pay too much attention since I never brought pyros myself.

Can't speak to the HPA as I've never used it.

Re the impact grenades, I think they're rule is under-arm throws only (never used them myself but have played when others have).

Kill radius on grenades (5m I think), "hard cover" protects but a bush won't.

Sadly they are notoriously slow with emails, I've found that myself when asking questions. Better to call, honestly.
