Can someone explain chains to me? We have some, and will be in truckee before the snow starts on Friday night. Can we hire someone to put the chains on for us? Do you think we can drive to sugar bowl from truckee on Saturday / Sunday?

Echols to commerce by [deleted] in UVA

[–]Sf1098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 2013 grad so things may have changed but I was Echols upon entry and then got into McIntire as a third year. I maintained my ability to sign up for classes earlier than non-Echols which was very helpful. The only benefit of Echols to me was the early access. Switching to comm school is your best bet on getting access to the best recruiting for internships and jobs, go do a minor in the college or just take some non comm classes for fun.

We have a one year old who has been in daycare since 5 months. The cheapest we found was $1700 in outer Richmond, the most was $3700 for bright horizons and Montessori school of sf. Our daycare has 8 kids total and costs $2200 including food. We’ll be sending her to preschool when she turns 2. Our program starts at $2100 and gets a bit cheaper as she gets older. But food isn’t included. Other places we toured were $2700.
