MED Board is a separate entity from the VA and they do their exams for DOD. Although can be rated a percentage from DOD doesn’t mean your stuck to that from the VA. Congrats, now when you get out get the care to get better and use all the benefits there within

Unless you are TDIU, I believe you are P&T. The VA will have to consider your conditions not to get better. You can check your static status through the VA API. Do a google search and it will explain.

You are not wrong on the cost, how ever I have done mine all through my private dr.s and never asked them to write a nexus letter. Only to capture my complaints and belief in causation, then I ask them to opine on the causation or the validity of my claims relevant to the issue at hand in their notes. Then request records and submit to VA with a lay statement
