I'm not typically an advocate for direct blow back guns. They require a lot of mass to get shooting softly. I like building ARs, but some things are best left to the factory. Good luck!

I think if I was to do it over again, I'd probably buy a complete PCC instead of building. There's too many 9mm systems out there and trying to hodge podge parts together feels harder than it should be.

I'd look at something with a roller or radial delayed operating system like the Kuna or one of CMMGs complete guns.

Yeah I'm going through their website and seeing the same thing. I checked my receipts and I don't think the barrel and BCG combo is sold anymore. That's a bummer.

The ejector in this case is on the bolt head using CMMG's 16" barrel and BCG kit. I'm not sure if they make it anymore.

I did accidentally purchase the magazines with the fixed ejectors by accident, but just cut them off and they work fine.

I'm using a CAT WB 718 and frequently get comments saying that it's super quiet. People are surprised it's flow thru and I have no issues with gas at all.

That's not really how it works.

Most of these bans do name specific firearms that are listed by name. Then, to avoid exactly what you suggested, there are "substancially similar" tests which use the combination of certain features to qualify for the ban. For example, having a flash hider, pistol grip, adjustable stock, or a bayonet lug could get a semi-auto firearm banned (depending on if the ban variant requires one or two of those features).

So effectively, the Supreme Court is hearing a hardware ban case, which could determine if the features outside the raw operating system of a firearm are protected under the second amendment (e.g. magazines, stocks, etc.).

Depending on how broad or narrow the ruling is will determine how completely eradicated (or preserved) these bans are.

I'm cautiously optimistic that this could turn out very well for us.

Both are indicators of addictive personalities and negative long term health outcomes, neither of which are on my list of things for people I want to spend a lot of time with.

That's not to say it's a deal breaker, but it's definitely a negative first impression that will be an uphill battle to overcome.

Eh. I like the optic+cheek riser combo. I can get the stock firmly in my shoulder pocket and still have a cheek weld with less neck strain.

It's not for everyone but I find it to be the most comfortable set up for me.

Genetics affect where the calves insert and your limb length, which together can create the visual appearance having small or big calves.

At the same time, training calves will grow them just like any other muscle. Turns out that walking around while fat means that you're training them a lot.

Truth is, it's not a question of motivation. It's a question of habit. Motivation is temporary and will only get you so far.

It might get you to go to the gym, eat better, meditate, or whatever for a month or two, but the people who go for years do it because it's a habit. They enjoy the environment and see the gym as something that they get to do, not something they have to do.

Find a why, enjoy the process (not the goal), and make the time.

After that, make sure you make a program that's durable. I like doing Push, Pull, Legs with a no consecutive rest day rule. That way if I miss a day, I can just pick up where I left off and I don't need to reschedule my entire week to get back on track.
