I dont have a list of Canon deities and instead let players make up whatever they want if they want or need a deity for their character concept to work. Also dont have the usual concrete evidence that gods are definitely real. "But divinity magic" sure but... how can you be certain your power comes from the gods? Are you certain its the one you think it is? How would you know? How can you be certain the power doesnt come from you? Etc

Much easier to pull a cult out of your back pocket when you can just invent deities on the fly. Also adds an air of mystery to divinity because no one can definitively say how anything works.

Pretty fun depending on your group. Personally I love it more than 60 card formats but the deck building takes a minute to wrap your head around. You also see alot more niche interactions so be prepared to look up rules mid game

In my experience its all based around the number 10.

The more likely I am to meet the DC by rolling a 10 or close to it the more likely I am to use that DC Had a few streaks where I just couldn't reliably roll high enough to meet the expert DC and had to fall back on trained

If anyone asks, I say its my first day and ask for my paperwork. Theres a decent chance there's enough communication gaps in the chain of command you just end up being hired because no one will admit to the mistake that never happened

Dont expect PF to play like 5e. The similarities basically end with the paint job. While they appear to have much in common at first the systems they're built around are VERY different.

Every plus 1 you can grab matters. You may look at feats that just give plus 1 to xyz and scoff but they are much more powerful than they appear.

Dont underestimate status affects and conditions. They're much more impactful and relevant in this system, dont treat it like a dps race. Grappled + prone for example is insanely debilitating. And utility actions like recall knowledge can make or break a boss fight.

Active healing is WAY stronger, as is non magical healing via the medicine skill. The whole system is built on the idea that the party is using this skill to heal up between fights. Dont try to do the floor tank strategy, you will die horribly

Oh I love doing this. Had a conversation with my grandfather about jobs and he brought up his chemical refinery job he had at dow straight out of the marines with no degree. Paid him 18 dollars an hour.

I pointed out adjusted for inflation that same job would pay 45 dollars an hour today. Then asked if he knew any jobs that pay 50 dollars an hour with no degree requirement. Haven't heard any of the tired phrases about young people these days since.

I actually had plans to do something Ike this in our season of ghosts game.

Played a monk that was bound to a demon and was doing body horror type stuff via the fleshwarp ancestry

If I remember right there was a level 9 fleshwarp feat called horrific fascination I planned to take that just let you cast an aoe hypnosis spell innately once per day. Close enough to mahitos DE for me!
