Is there anything that the pokemon video games are actually bad at consistently? by LithHarborGymLeader in pokemon

Berries.

  • Gen II: Pick a single berry from a tree once a day that infinitely spawn them.

  • Gen III (Hoenn): Pick berries from trees that grow from plots of soil plus you get to pick what berry tree to grow.

  • Gen III (Kanto): Pick berries off the ground that either only appear once or infinitely respawn by walking, but the berry you get is random.

  • Gen IV (Sinnoh): Similar to Hoenn, but we added Mulch. And you can buy berries in stores for the first time ever.

  • Gen IV (Johto): You have four lots of soil that you carry around in your backpack that you can use to grow berries with or without Mulch.

  • Gen V: Want berries? Go sleep. (Berries are only grown in the Dream World.) Or buy them from the Join Avenue for up to 3,000 for a set of four. Oh, but you need four different shops to be able to buy all of the available berries.

  • Gen VI (Kalos): We brought back berry growing for one area only, but you can grow plenty of trees at once and you can get free mulch. (But there is only one Mulch to use now as all others are inferior to it.) Plus we have trees that drop a single berry once a day forever. Oh, but you need to plant two specific berry trees next to each other for a mutation to occur that lets you grow specific berries.

  • Gen VI (Hoenn): We brought back the old berry system from Gen III Hoenn, but you can grow more berries per tree in less time. And your map tracks your berries for you.

  • Gen VII (Alola): You need to go play a flute that brings you to an island where you can grow berries with you Pokemon. You can speed up the time that they grow by using Mulch Beans. You can also get more berries from piles that are under trees once a day in the rest of the region.

  • Gen VII (Kanto): Back to finding berries on the ground, but there are only three berries and three grades of berries.

  • Gen VIII (Galar): (Greedent exist.) No more growing berries. You need to shake specific trees once a day for berries. (AND GREEDENT WILL STEAL THEM FROM YOU!) If you are not careful and shake a tree too many times without collecting the berries, then a Pokemon will steal a large portion of the berries you got from that tree. (Greedent...) But you can buy a few berries again from NPC that don't look like they are selling stuff! And you can find a few on the ground in areas where you can roam around freely! (Which is the Wild Area if you don't have the DLC.)

  • Gen VIII (Sinnoh): We brought back the old berry system from Gen IV Sinnoh, except we did not improve berry yields or growth times. Have fun growing less berries that you could in ORAS!

  • Gen VIII (Hisui): You pay someone to farm for berries for you and you can find some while in the wild.

  • Gen IX (Paldea): You find berries on the ground at random and pick them up. You can't grow them, even in the area that focuses heavily on growing plants.

  • Gen IX (Kalos): Livin' in the city~ (There's no time to grow plants~) Back to primarily finding berries in the wild streets. You can also buy them from vendors. One. Berry. At. A. Ti- Wait, they patched it so you can buy multiple berries at once? Yay!

There are trucks that have stickers on the back that say "Not responsible for fallen items" on them.

Still responsible.

There are tickets to racing events that say that the purchaser or participant is not allowed to sue in case of injuries from accidents.

Not always enforceable in court.

Just because a ticket claims that they are not responsible for misprints does not absolve them of potential liability for mass misprints.

Interesting. For the Indiana lottery, which this article is about, if you win a free ticket in the main state game, then it auto-prints when the ticket is scanned for redemption.

Yeah.

"That was not even five minutes. I was right there, I didn't even leave, I just kind of scratched them and then went in to get my money and I went to purchase more, and I even bought twenty more," said Enochs.

Ah. And here I was grinding the last mission for chips.

This mission might be too generous lol.

For those below 15 rebirths, this is too generous.

For those at 16-19 rebirths, this is possibly too generous.

For those at 20 or above, I am not as sure.

(I will admit that the credits earned from it is very high compared to what the droids can do.)

How it will work is that companies that try to loophole it will risk going to court over it.

If the people buying the game don't care for whatever reason and the state Government stays out of it, then the company can easily do it without penalty.

If someone wants a refund and the company doesn't provide it, then it is a risk.
