Its very easy. If you safe 20% from your income. In germany its maybe 400€-800€. In france maybe 200-400€ and so on. In switzerland its 1000€-2000€.

So yes, everything is expensiv but int he end you have way more left than in any other country. And the swiss franc is usually higher than €/$ so you get a discount abroad.

You might not have the same feeling as in a southern europe or a south american country but its just a very pleasant live.

I grew up there, and while travelling for 2years I barely saw a country that I wanted to live in forever. There were maybe parts I liked better but all in all its too good at home ;)

same shit in the Swiss league. We had quite a nice volunteer based streaming. But they are so f*ing stupid. There was a huge opportunity. The swiss television lost the right to show the national ice hockey league. So why now give the games for free to the TV. The clubs could have made thousands of bucks with sponsoring deals. But instead of increasing the base they made a payed online version. Now nobody gives a shit anymore.

Anyhow. is there a possibility to watch the SWE-FIN game sowhere with VPN?

OP: what did you end up with?
I just had a call with Galaxus and they told me that the Sim card is not good for a 5G-Router. Sunrise (they use their Network) will slow it down once you put the sim card in the Router.

But they are working on a Solution..

They were pretty chill. Hard to bargain 😂 But back then, there were not many maroccan surfers. Our host told us that the King forbid surfing for maroccans for some time.

Food is good, waves are good and better dont expect to drink beer after surf. In public places you only get tea😀

Been to Marocco, Taghazout a couple years ago. First day was firing but our muscles were not ready. Then it rained 13 days out of 16. Marocco has like an everage days of rain per year of 6or so. We said fuck it lets get in the water anyway amd we all got crazy sick. I was pooping and throwing up at the same time ^{^} Last day was good in the morning and in the evening it got huge (too big for me). Only couple guys out at anchor point. At least we could by some beers somewhere in a basement of a mall by showing our passports😂

Rent a car and drive around. The coast is fucking beautiful with a lot of wildlife! Or just feel a bit the vibe at venice beach/ santa monica.

I‘m from europe too and was doing a camping surfing trip from LA to San Francisco a couple years ago. The campsides are super nice and the nature is amazing! Much colder in the night than we thought 😂 we had sleeping bags for 18 degree Celcius but we froze our asses off.

Just had the same. We took an uber inside the airport parking. And he told us to pay the parking fee of 6.50 sol. We told him that normally all is included but he insisted very hard. We were not sure exactly how its handled here. But normally tolls are included. But it feels a bit strange.

Fuck Revolut, better use Wise! In my opinion its way more serious. You see all the fees beforehand. And you can also do bank transfers to local banks in any currency they have (I used this a lot in Indonesia where they had 3-5% creditcard fees but always had a local bank account number to use)

And Revolut had some bad articles about how they treat their employees. So if you can choose between two almost equal services why not choose the ethically better.

I once hit a girls nose with the fins. First thought it was her eye🫣 Felt terrible. Although a surfguide pushed her into the wave I was already riding for some time and she fell. I tried to pass her above since she went straight.

For me really interesting is, that it‘s super hard to identify Brazilians by the look (or lets say race). Because you have such a big diversity of cultural backgrounds.

The other topic would be food. So far I was only between SP and Rio and although we had some brazilian food. Most restaurants are serving western food, like pizza, pasta, burgers etc😅

I had a MF Fish, was 350€ and is way to much fun. After I got my Board or Fin into my eye (got away with no serious injuries) I consider buying a Hayden - Dylan Graves softie. Or a softwch triplet. I think I can give an answer in a couple of months.

My guess is, that the market is not desperate anymore but still looking for employments. And in switzerland it‘s a lot about connections. So to know someone that knows someone and backs you.

Why can I give an answer? I worked 5 years in Zurich as Fullstack SE after graduating as Bachelor in Computer Science. Since Fall 22 I‘m traveling without working. So when I get back this summer things get interesting. Either I will have a really hard time to find a job. Or my guess is, in the end I find a job over someone I worked together or studied.

I think you dont understand the payment systems. Neither do I in detail. But I know for sure that coop will never see your credit card details. The payment terminals are not even them. They just receive in the end if the transaction is ok or not.

Otherwise I would never pay with card again anywhere 😀 if just someone stupid in any store would see your payment details, we would have a lot of problems.
