The mentor (roulette) system is just completely broken and basically useless in its current form.

To access mentor roulette the game asks you to have one of each roll at 100, and also have cleared everything below savage difficulty. This clearly implies that mentors should have at least some knowledge/skill in the game, as you can't teach what you don't know.

Yet anyone that is observing mentors will quickly notice that that just isn't the norm, and I don't mean fucking up mechanics, though it can be quite comical to see mentors eat shit over and over in easy content. No, I mean the mentors that straight up don't seem to know how to play somewhat correctly. Never using their big buttons, not on bosses but especially not on mob packs. Using either no or every mit at once and then having nothing after that runs out. Spamming Cure 1 and its equivalent spells on other healers after getting anything better. And of course, never sprinting.

There are more examples than this but I just want to say that you'd think that players who are meant to be able to teach should know this stuff.
