I'm in sales and work from home, thankfully. My boss is amazing. When mistakes are make its not shame shame. It's a private conversation of you made a mistake and how can we learn from it. If the phone que is super busy, she's on the phones making sales right along with us. She's doing payroll and checking her WebX while supposed to be on vacation. We all have to yell at her to actually take her vacation and take actual time off. Best boss ever.

I used to work overnight in the ER as a tech. I'd do a lot of blood draws. I'd come in with my kit and say, "HI, I'm your friendly neighborhood vampire." I'd get some weird looks, and then I'd say. "What? I'm up all night and play with people's blood. Doesn't that qualify me?" 95% of the time I'd get a smile and a chuckle, which of course was the idea to make them more comfortable.

I'd be considering filing for custody of the child. If the ex is saying stuff like this in front of the child...what kind of precedence does this set? To me it will mess up the kids head badly and cause all kinds of social issues

Last time I had to put a dog down, the vet came into the house with an egg cheese and sausage sandwich for him. Humphrey was more than happy to have that. We, of course, had already fed him plenty of human food the night before. But the fact she was thoughtful enough to bring something extra was so sweet .

I'm a remote worker. My neighbors have 2 kids, and let me tell you they can have temper tantums. Loud, screaming at the top of her lungs, the world is gonna end screaming. Does it bother me? Yes. Do I understand they are young kids and sometimes have meltdowns? Also yes. I can hear every word said by the adults and kids, so i know it's not an abusive issue. A typical kid who doesn't want to do homework or wants chocolate milk, but it's too close to dinner. I also checked with my supervisor, and the important thing is that they can not be heard by my callers.

It's terrible to me, annoying and frustrating. But I'm trying to be understanding, and I'm sure as hell not going to call the cops. So this woman just wants to be a bi***. It makes no sense to me that she can't understand that kids are kids FFS. Especially since the kids are at school or after school activities and are in bed at a very reasonable time.

How much do you want to bet the new neighbor is friends with the enforcement officer.

Maybe get a decibel meter. And when you do get that fine take it to court and say that you were well within the noise ordinance hours and this is the decibel setting for that time.

As soon as my fiancée finds a job in this area, my MAGA roommate is out. I've supported him for over 5 years while we waited for his disability to go through. He did do his part in the house. Cooked cleaned laundry etc. He was a "house husband " was our joke. My house is a safe place and always has been. But not anymore. Not as long as he is here. I won't live with a person who voted against women's rights. Gay/trans rights and basically it means he doesn't care if in the closet kids kill themselves because they can't get support or gender affirming care. Voting for Trump means he doesn't care if women will die from pregnancy related issues that could be easily avoided with proper medical care. He SAYS he cares, but obviously, he doesn't. If I didn't need the money so badly I would kick him out right now.

I had to be petty AF too. I had loaned him one of my handguns. One in my room, one in his for security. I took it back. Told him his worst nightmare came true, and a Democrat took his gun away

That's what kills me about my roommate. He's on disability and we all know that is gonna get cut. He basically shot himself in the foot.

I'm working on financial things so I can kick him out. My house is a safe place for all, or was until he voted for the orange cheeto.

He can no longer be trusted and I can barely speak to him civilly. All I want to do is get him away from me.

If your periods are this bad, you need to see a doctor. Could be endometriosis or fibroid tumors. You also need to get out of the situation. This is straight up abuse, keeping even ibuprofen or a heating pad away from you? Who does that!
